Update:
They have offered to remedy this and I am awaiting the app update.
My stars have changed due to the customer service being supportive and giving me the option to try it again to see if next time it works out better.
Original review: I normally always want to rate anything vegan as a high star place, but maybe I went in here on the wrong day or something because my friend wanted me to order take out and so downloaded the app to my phone so I could begin the rewards program there too.
My family are regular patrons at veggie grill so we are used to being spoiled a bit with their numerous options, and generosity.
The photos on this place's google page were why my friend wanted to try it out. But after looking at the menu, someone would have to pay top dollar for those, such as about $40 per burger. That doesn't seem fair that they misrepresent their food sooo much at Next Level Burger.
Next Level nickels and dimes you for every little extra topping, every single extra slice of cheese or upgrade. The experience costs a huge amount at the end even when it might be $10 or $15 less at Veggie Grill.
Also, we wanted to support and try their organic ingredients but were disappointed in the flavor not being there.
Once I arrived for my order, the place was pretty sparce with just a couple customers at one table and the cashier was packing my order. She stapled it before I could look at it and so I had to break the bag open to see the contents. And there inside even though they charged us extra for cheese and extra for my sauces, and they had a house sauce but forgot the other condiments we asked to try since it was our first time, but they weren't there. The burger for my friend had no cheese and we were in a hurry so and no one really knew how to get the app to apply the points for the meal and the customer service guy was taking for ever to do the most basic things like ring up the order etc.,
After quite a few minutes later, because of their mistakes and them trying to make US pay for them, including charging for things we did not get or even want, they kidn of fixed our ticket and said they had applied them to the app for the appropriate rewards but it never happened.
The hot dog was bland and dried out and did not taste like Beyond Meat Sausages (which are excellent normally), and lacked numerous things we wanted like jalapenos and relish. The chili was ultra dry and mashed up. The burger was okay but was dry and also didnt have enough cheese. The fries were okay, but a bit soggy.
Overall, I would hope this place has better food when they learn to cook it properly and will have better customer...
Read moreTable service at this location. For what next level is counter service is more appropriate as presentation and length of time to get food is approx 5-10 minutes. Stars are for the best vegan Caesar salad. Had low expectations but this was out of this world with tempeh bacon croutons diced tomatoes and a beautiful spring mix with tasty thicker dressing. This isn’t your weight loss salad but if your craving a tasty higher calorie salad this is a winner. The grilled chicken sandwich was next on our list (fav to worst) the texture of the ‘chicken’ was great also honey mustard was tasty. The white bun was sub par (standard white) and size was on the smaller size. The Mexicali burger was one of our least favorites this burger we ordered with dressings on the side. The burger was missing guacamole (was listed on menu). The patty held quite a bit of oil. The wheat bun was nice. Our least favorite was thr baked sweet potatoes fries. These came out limp/soggy and the ranch style sauce was an overpowering condiment. We requested they be baked longer and they were taken back. The fries returned in the exact condition. Disappointing I’d recommend another fry option or ordering extra crispy maybe you’ll have better luck. Overall I appreciate the concept looking forward to the kitchen fine...
Read moreCame across by accident when looking for the Whole Foods bathroom. Grabbed a menu and brought home. My wife is a vegetarian, but I like my burgers from a cow. We looked them up online and we liked their philosophy. We went for a late lunch 7/13. The people working there were very friendly and helpful! My wife can't eat gluten and they had GF options including baking the fries instead of deep fat frying. As I mentioned, I like a good beef burger so I tried their All American Burger to see how it compares. In a word "amazing"! I didn't think I could be converted, but I just might be. My wife said her Signature burger and GF bun was excellent as well. The Special Style Fries were just ok, will try different fry options next time. We did not stay in the restaurant as we didn't like the cold diner feel or lack of decor, but were able to sit just outside it in the Whole Foods cafe which is much nicer and has good music. Our lunch came to just under $37 without drinks. Considering the high quality and varied ingredients, and options for people with dietary needs like my wife, and the amazing burgers, It's easy for me to say...
