Park Gyros — Restaurant in San Francisco

I’ve been going to Park Gyros on and off since 2014 but significantly less so since I moved out of the neighborhood. They had good food at reasonable prices and they were fast. I never had issues until today when I was there with my wife and two kids. As I made my order at the counter the girl behind the register barely made eye contact and had a cold demeanor. Nonetheless I left a 20% tip and went back to our table. A few minutes later she came with our Hummus order and two plates. She walked away while I asked for another plate for my son so I presumed she didn’t hear me. Once I got her attention I asked her for the plate. Upon returning with the plate I kindly requested some more pita bread since we already finished the two pieces she initially brought and we still had a lot of hummus left. Upon hearing this second request, she made a face, rolled her eyes, and walked away. My wife saw this as well. When she returned with the bread I told her that I saw the face and the eye role and asked her if there was a problem. She immediately became defensive and said there was no problem but never acknowledged her action. The place wasn’t even that busy and I found this extremely disrespectful especially after having left a generous tip. It was especially disappointing as I’d been coming to this place for so long and never been given such...

The first 2 times I came here: Yummy!!😋 So good and portion is awesome for the price! And I gave 5 Stars for Everything So I returned a third time and I paid with my debit card, the man taking my order watched me swipe my card, enter my pin, and that I did Not leave a tip...he walked to the cook and said something, and my gyro was 1/3 the size it usually was before! 🤨 I do Not leave tips on debit bc it is taxed, therefore the recipient Does NOT get the whole tip, I learned this years ago for I spent 20+ years in food service myself. I leave cash tips and Only After I receive my order. I'm on a fixed budget away from home and came back here bc the food portion was big enough to last 3 "meals". Because of nutrition tables there is portioning, mandated by federal law... so they are either overportioning for tipping customers or Underportioning for those that don't... what happened here is technically illegal...I don't believe customers should be leaving tips BEFORE receiving their products anyway, this is another reason why I tip in cash AFTER service... needless to say, I have not returned, nor...

The location an atmosphere was good, but the food was disappointingly bland and overcooked. Not authentic, unremarkable. The service was fast, but there was a mix up with my order. While, the owner or manager was kind and tried to accomodate me and even, offered me a refund. I would've preferred getting my money back, but I felt bad because he corrected the order and prepared both plates for take out, since I lost my appetite after tasting the overcooked falafel appetizer. I initially ordered a combo plate of gyro meat and chicken kebab with rice (not yellow rice) & salad (not Greek or Mediterranean). I was served gyro meat with a chopped chicken meat that I didn't order. Had the food been flavorful, I would've eaten my dinner there. If you're on a strict bland diet and can't eat salt or any type of seasonings, you may like their food. Unfortunately, it was a waste of my money. I didn't like any of it. I threw it out except; I used the bland meats as a topper over my dog's kibbles. In good conscientious, I can not...
