Both indoor and outdoor tables were available today 3/6/2021. Wow, what a great brunch spot! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I had the lobster scramble $26, side of sausage $4.50 and a Bloody Mary $12 for brunch. The New England lobster scramble was dressed in a celery, mayonnaise and Swiss cheese with chives on top. The lobster meat was sweet with a firm and snappy texture. I liked how they had different parts of lobster meat: claw, tail, knuckle. Each part had a different taste. I kinda wish the chef didn't drench it so much mayonnaise though. It would have been better naked with a little garlic butter. The scrambled eggs underneath the lobster were plain. It could have used a little salt and pepper. The potatoes were good with a crispy outside and soft middle. Some of the smaller pieces were burnt though and I left those alone. Finally, the Bloody Mary was sufficient. It had the usual celery stick to cleanse the palate after drinking a spicy, tomatoey beverage. It hardly had alcohol in it so I can't recommend it. My bill today was $54 with tax and tip. Good job Plain Jane. That was a good brunch. Now I'm...
Read moreI don't understand how to send you a message, so I will edit my comment here. First of all, plain jane was a restaurant where we loved to have breakfast. We came for brunch on Saturday and sat outside. Since all the tables outside were empty, I asked the waiter to change our table because the chairs we were sitting on were very uncomfortable. There were 4 of us but the waiter only changed my chair as a solution and told us that we could sit inside if we wanted. The waiter's attitude was sarcastic and uncaring. Afterwards, I asked someone else to change our table and they did. Because everywhere is so available! The same waiter continued to take care of our table. However, their behavior continued in a very rude and unhelpful way. This was very disturbing because our Saturday brunch, which we came to enjoy, ended badly. When we asked the waiter to change the by-product in our order, he rudely replied 'no'. That was very rude. Also, every time we thanked him for what he brought to the table, he turned away without answering. Normally I never care about such things, but this was not...

To drink we ordered the pistachio latte, hot chocolate, and lychee fizz. My friend said the latte had an artificial taste to it but I did not notice it. Kids enjoyed the hot chocolate. The lychee fizz was really good, just wished I asked what type of alcohol was in it.
To eat we ordered PJ's Sweet Flight, Coconut & Brown Rice Flour Pancake, and Chipotle Honey Fried Chicken & Belgian Waffles. We ordered the flight to get a taste of everything. It did not disappoint. It was plenty enough food to split between 2 kids. The coconut pancake were to die for! Omg, they are delicate, light and fluffy. Fried chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The red velvet waffle at first I was disappointed in the serving size but I could only eat half. The waffle was cakey and delicious but fills you up quick.
