The Liberties — Restaurant in San Francisco

The drinks were good. I had a glass of wine and my partner had beer. We took advantage of the happy hour food which included a chicken quesadilla and brussel sprouts. We also had a cheeseburger and a baby kale salad. The quesadilla was good, although it had all the tomato and avocado stuffed inside which seemed a little strange to me. The side of sour cream and jalapenos were served in little disposable cups which seems wasteful and unnecessary. The hamburger was a little over done to our liking, but could have been better if it were seasoned and had something to make the bun not dry. The brussel sprouts had a very interesting bacon sauce on top, that would have been good with just the bacon and not the sauce. All round the food needed a...

Stopped by to meet a friend for a drink. Great variety of beer. Full bar. Something for everyone.

Hadn't had dinner so I ordered some food. It was freshly made and delicious!! I ordered fish and chips and they were both made with just the right amount of crunch. It's hard to find a place that preps fish and chips like this place. Most make it too soggy.

The service was excellnt too. My friend and I talked and talked way after the food and drinks were gone and they made us feel like we didn't have to rush to get out.

Its the litte things that make a place so big!! Big on perfect drinks, food, and customer service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to unwind...

The Liberties is a great place, even better with the new parklet as of the pandemic. Location is great, drinks great, food better, people, the best. This review is probably a little weighted because it's walking distance from my house, but if I move from this neighborhood, I'll still find a way to get my Chipotle aioli fix. Try the tots, try the popcorn chicken, get the fried Brussels Sprouts. I've had almost everything on the menu, all packed with flavor! If you're meeting me there go ahead and order me a Bebida Sandía...
