Poke Bowl — Restaurant in San Francisco

so we ordered off of grub hub for the food to arrive at 7:30. before 5 i got an angry knock at my door and a man said he’d be waiting for 40 minutes, which was most likely a lie, unless he has got some invisibility cloak, because i had gotten there 10 minutes prior, and he hadn’t knocked and wasn’t standing at my door when i walked up. now my moms currently in the sky (on a plane, not in heaven) and she had ordered the food for 7:30 so we could all have dinner together when she got back, which is very nice of her. furthermore, the food reaked of cigarettes, like somebody purposely exhaled an entire pack into the bag. seriously, when i opened it it smelled like a 20s speakeasy or something. i’ve never written one of these things because i know only middle aged, white moms are supposed to, but since my very own middle aged white mom is still in the sky i have taken it upon myself. i’m not sure if the food itself is good, and i’m probably never gonna know, considering it smells like it was bathed in a back alley somewhere, and i’m not legally allowed to smoke, and i’m pretty sure eating this would count. i’m just rather peeved at this...

Received horrible customer service! Usually I order during the day, but since they don’t have a pick up option on DoorDash, I decided to order in-store around 7:45PM on a Monday(as the store hours says “open until 9:30 PM”). I walked up and the doors were locked, but I saw two employees still inside and all of the food was out. I knocked several times with the server right in front of me and she intentionally did not look up at me.

I wouldn’t have been irked if they had simply told me the reason why they were closing early (even gesturing through the window that they’re closed), but I didn’t even get acknowledged in the slightest and going as far as purposely ignoring a customer. Just plain rude, and that’s coming from a person who was loyal to this place for 3 years now and also works in the food service industry....

Calling all seafood lovers! So, so good. Sushi bowl (to be simplified) of heaven. It really feels like a new bowl each time with even the simplest differences. I highly recommend the combination of tamago and garlic chips. They also are very generous with the meat so if you are looking at the price, don't worry... you'll thank yourself later for deciding it's worth it. The only problem I have with this place is that I noticed the only difference between the 2 scoop and 3 scoop options is more rice for the bigger bowl. It's an extra scoop of meat but half the time they eyeball it anyways. Yeah, they say it's one more scoop but 2 is plenty and it's a healthier portion for a meal... including not bloating up on...
