Rin's Thai — Restaurant in San Francisco

When entering this restaurant, I had very high hopes. The décor on the walls are a collection of artistic photos from Thailand, tables are pre set and the menu is funkily folded. However, that's where it ended. Our server was extremely forgetful and seemed surprised when we asked if we could order during his second table visit. He also left the table after taking only one order - we called him back saying there were two more people. Then the food. I ordered a yellow curry which turned into a soup of highly salted curried coconut milk with sparse veggies. The concoction was so salty, I fished out all of the veggies and ate them with rice, leaving the soup. I would consider more stars but a bad service and food combo is not redeeming...

The Phad Thai is pretty good but the service and prices are not. My vegetarian friend ordered tofu Pad See Ew and it came with chunks of beef in it. We called and told them and they sent a replacement dish, and asked us to give them back our dish which was peculiar but totally fine. Then the delivery person kept questioning and didn't believe that there was actually beef even though it I had tasted it! There was no reason for him to be argumentative as they had already replaced the dish and the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. Will not...

Very disappointed. Ordered roti and yellow chicken curry. Roti was undercooked and glued in a ball in the togo box. Carrots in the curry was overcooked and had no taste. They added no spice at all, it was so plain. Food and $30 ended in the garbage. Just moved to neighborhood- exploring nee restaurants. Maybe i just got unlucky based on the reviews it...
