Third time trying this place because it's close to home. Never going back! Every time we went they did not have boba! Umm, pretty sure that's why we went...... Today, I had a reward from Five Stars for a free topping which the cashier asked if I wanted to redeem. When my drink was ready it did not have boba. The young lady said that they did not have boba. As we drank our teas - the drinks made after mine had boba. I asked the counter person why they had boba when they said they were out? She then said I did not ask for it and that I did not pay for it. I explained that was incorrect and the cashier even asked IF I wanted to redeem the reward! She then had to go and confer with the cashier then came back and told me that it would be ANOTHER 5 minutes to get boba. I told her I did not understand why I would have to wait when they had just made at least 5 drinks with boba! All 3 of the employees just stared at me totally clueless and dumbfounded. No customer service whatsoever. Basically went 3 times and never got boba - more than enough times to waste money and be disappointed. Make the walk to Plentea or Boba Guys - it's worth the wait and...

Staff has always been very nice and I've been coming to this place for the past 5 years. The boba/milk tea are still very good and I just love the decors (i love the plants and little prints!) and seating inside. It may not look huge in the front but there are so many seatings in the back. I've hung out with my friends here a couple of times and I'm glad that they gave a bathroom available for customers. I've seen a couple of peeps do their work here and I'd love to do it here...
Read moreDrinks here tasted... interesting. Very different from other boba tea shops. By that I mean slightly weird, but not entirely in a bad way. For instance the osmanthus oolong had a strong osmanthus fragrance, but I think it would taste better without milk (their house formula apparently has soy milk in it). The kumquat lemon tonic was refreshing but the yogurt balls made sips with them taste almost like yakult.
Would return to try other items on the menu next time as an inventive place is better than a boring one. Note also that prices on menu are pre-tax, works out to...
