TEAZO — Restaurant in San Francisco

We will NEVER come back to this place:( I was there just yesterday with my kids as this place is in our neighbourhood. I ordered chicken wings for my kids and under the “special notes” I mentioned “NO SPICY PLEASE” as my kids cannot eat spicy. I ordered few more things and been waiting for my order, sitting on the couch. I was only one there. When my order was ready I was called by my number to pick it up, they put all food like to go style, even though I was planning to eat inside. I asked about ketchup, the young lady gave it to me with confusion,three packs to go, without any tray, I was using a napkin as a “plate” for it🤦‍♀️ When my son eat the wing, he was urgently asking about the water, he said it’s very spicy! I immediately went to the associates and ask how come they are spicy if I specifically asked PLEASE NO SPICY. With absolutely “don’t care” face, she said “yes, I saw your note, but those wings come spicy because of the original recipe.” It doesn’t say it’s spicy on the menu! And I additionally asked please no spicy! I was only one at the cafe and she could not tell me prior preparing my order that it is spicy?! It is unbelievable! After that short conversation, she just went back to her chair, joining her cell phone and was absolutely don’t care about us, that’s just horrible customer service.😔 The worst part is that as the result, my son is having a stomach pain since yesterday, he vomited and missed his school today!😔 This is absolutely unacceptable! I love to visit all the boba places in the neighborhood. Teazo being relatively new I wanted to give it a shot. Not great to be honest. I ordered a tiramisu milk tea with boba. Their regular size cost $6 but their regular size is a small size everywhere else. Did not taste tiramisu at all. Tasted like a chocolate milk with boba. They just threw on a bunch of ovaltine or chocolate powder on top of the drink... Not sure if the addition of the chocolate powder was all that made it tiramisu...

I give two stars because the boba at least was chewy and flavorful.

Ordering system needs to be better. No one takes orders on site. Either call it in or you go to their square page to order. So I'm at the store and ordered via the link provided on the window. Took 15+ mins to get my order as I just wait outside. There is one person ahead of me. The staff members call out the order numbers from all the way in the back of the store where they make the drinks. Taraval is a super busy street with MUNI and cars driving past. Can't hear the numbers. Also if you order via their square link the numbers they call out doesn't even match with the numbers they call out. Probably decent practice to have them come out to the door and tell customers that certain order is ready as no one could hear them and also no one knew they were calling for us as we just stood far apart from each other trying to social distance. Either that or let people wait inside the store as there is enough...

I came here because a friend found the place and we wanted to give it a try. The place is clean and the service was great. Unfortunately, there is no indoor nor outdoor dining but if you have a car you can just enjoy your drinks and snacks at ocean beach. I ordered a four-season cheezo tea with boba, a matcha souffle pancake, spam, and popcorn chicken. The drink was ok but there was nothing special about it, the boba was chewy as I like but that's all. Consequently, the spam was really good! I think that's what I liked the most. Then I tried the popcorn chicken the flavor was good but it wasn't crispy. Finally, I tried the soufflé pancake. When we ordered they told us it was going to take 15 minutes to be ready. The cashier also ask if we wanted the sauce on the side.They give you two small pancakes and a lot of sauce. To be honest the flavor was good but is not worth the price(10dls).
