I was not sure about taking my friendsto this place because reading the last commentd most of them were very bad, but anyway I took the risk
Don’t go to this place., worst place ever.
I convinced some of my friends to come here because the place looks nice, but seems like people who works here don’t have any preparation to treat customers, a blond girl with a curly hair and a guy, were very disrespectful , they don’t deserve working here, maybe never with customers. If they don’t want to work, then they should stay at home.
My friend and I were here and we wanted to leave the place, so we needed to pay the bill but a guy who is in the pic almost throw my friend’s card in her face, after charging all of course , saying you don’t owe us anything , GO!!!! They were very disrespectful I couldn’t believe it. They guy got upset because we asked for the bill to his coworker and not him.
.We were complaining to the guy who treat us very bad and they were doing like a game , so a guy with a microphone started saying shut up in front of all customer. He didn’t even know what was happening there. Such an awful experience. I really regret...
Read moreVisited the Boardroom for Taco Tequila Trivia Tuesday.
The Bar Itself: It's a smallish bar that can seat probably 40-50 people. It's a little worn but not dirty. Beer selection is small with about 8 beers on tap. Service was pretty good and was friendly.
The Trivia: The questions were split into 6 rounds: Current events (Basically Trump questions plus local SF happenings), US history, Identitying pictures (in our case, pictures of villains that ranged from Streetfighter's M. Bison to Carmen San Diego to Breaking Bad's Gustavo Fring), Music round (naming artists when songs are played), General knowledge, and Complete the sheet (you're given a sheet of paper with numerous things to match - in our case, song titles and artists). Overall, the bar was lively, but trivia felt more like a side event, mainly because the man asking the questions was hidden partially in a corner, and he wasn't terribly engaging, satisfied to give questions and answers.
Neither the bar nor the trivia are worth an out-of-your-way stop,...
Read moreWe go here to watch games when Chief Sullivan's is closed. I always really want to like this place as they have huge tvs. The bartenders are really nice. The food is decent, not as good as Chief Sullivan's but decent. This time we had wings caesar salad and for some crazy reason I had a craving for crunch tacos. All were five though I spaced and didn't take pictures! My biggest complaint about this place is that it is always FREEZING! It's on a corner so with both doors open, the double doors on the corner and the one on the side, it brings in the frosty cold air from the street in a gust. I suppose on a super hot day in SF (never) this would be lovely but most of the time I am always woefully underdressed when I come in here. For sure I never take off my jacket. I always forget them I come back and once again vow to bring extra layers when I come here. If you come in a group and sit at one of the tables in the back it's probably fine but we like to sit at...
