I gave Urban Curry another chance and I didn't get sick eating navratan korma, kheer, mango lasso, & garlic naan. So yummy!! (Except the kheer had a funky taste to it.) & Ordered on Uber Eats and unfortunately the 2 separate times I ordered from here (the exact same items as well mind you) I had food poisoning all night long afterwards which is such a bummer as I love the flavors of the navratan korma, kheer, mango lassi, and garlic naan and dahl. I believe it might have been the navratan korma which is my absolute favorite especially the way you make it there. I really wanted to give it a second try just in case it was me and not the food/restaurant. 3.) The next time I ordered it (navratan korma, kheer, garlic naan, mango lassi) I was perfectly fine. (Must have been a coincidence.) I just ordered it again and all the food was fantastic, from the garlic naan, navratan korma, mango lassi and kheer. So yummy. I just wish they gave napkins and silverware as they forgot that last 2 times although I requested them. 4.) This time I had a huge order... Navaratan korma, veggie samosas (mint and tamarind chutney,) mango lassi, garlic naan, 2 kheer (buy 1, get one free,) and dahl/lentil soup, and aloo tikki. The dahl is way too watered down. (Not a thicker consistency that I prefer with my dahl, when I make it myself at home, or have had it at other's homes or restaurants, etc.). The tamarind chutney is great. The mint is a bit spicy. This is actually really yummy aloo tikki. First time ordering this and dahl/lentil soup from urban curry. Everything else is fantastic though. The kheer is extremely similar to the rice pudding many of us have had in USA or UK (a bit more flavorful and so yummy and addicting.) The only bummer is I requested mango chutney and didn't receive it. Also, I absolutely loved the aloo tikki! I will definitely NOT be ordering the dahl/lentil soup again. Honestly that was a waste of $6.99. I didn't want to risk paying $16-17 for the other dahl just in...

Disclaimer, I ordered delivery from Uber Eats, and didn't sit in. I also ordered at about 2:30am, but I think if you can't serve the same quality at 2am as as 2pm, then you shouldn't be open at 2am, and they were, so no free points for that. My order was a chicken mahkni, a plain naan, a mango lassi, and a ras malai.

The chicken mahkni was ok. Sauce was fine, not great, but not disgusting. The pieces of chicken that were actually meaty, were actually quite nice, sadly about 1/2 the pieces were grisly and inedible. Also this curry was surprisingly cold, even taking into account the delivery time.

The naan was quite a surprise. The was so undercooked that it was still tacky on the outside and doughy in the inside. I got my biggest surprise when I took my first bite. They hadn't mentioned it on the app, but apparently it was buy 1, get 1 free on naans that night, except the free naan was out into the oven about 8 hours before I even ordered, and was fused to the bottom my undercooked naan. No joke I think I could cook a steak to about medium rare on this single piece of burnt carbon.

The lassi. Always my favorite part of the meal, but this one disappointed me before I even tried it, because you could tell it was going to be quite bad. I didn't realize that they'd invented a flouresent orange quite as bright as that, but sadly I didn't want to learn about this new color while drinking a mango lassi. This thing was high school inter murals sports t-shirt orange. Think of the most bright orange color you can....that's basically blue compared to the hue of this mango lassi. The taste was even faker than the color.

The ras malai was actually warmer than the curry surprisingly, and like the curry is was meh. The liquid tasted like 50/50 water and milk, with a bunch of sugar in it. None of the delicious subtly of nuts and saffron you usually get, just watery milk and sugar.

2/10. Extra point because at least I didn't get sick...

Used to frequently order from here. But today I order meal for 3 PEOPLE!. And I made sure to add tips so that they don't skip on carry bag. Turns out the guy was trying to skip on the carry bag. He was giving me the whole order in paper wrap. I told him this doesnt have a handle nor does it look like its going to carry the weight. He said everybody takes it like this why do you need a bag?! I told him its cus its a big order. He laughed and said you only ordered 3 dishes. Im like yeah and the bread and the drinks on the side what about that?! Why do you have a giant stack of big carry bags of you are not gng to use it?! On that he went gave me the single carry bag. And while carrying the food home, the bag broke the paper wrapper tore apart and the food was on the ground!! I asked grubhub for full refund and they did gave me that. I have decided to never order food again from this place, they are cheap with no customer service and I hope the guy who lacked customer service come under fire from him superior. If not than I bet he is going to continue what...

Bland and boring, and hardly authentic, although quantities were ok. I had a Mealpal order with cauliflower and chicken with spinach. The serving lady flatly refused a request of some extra chilies on the side. Stuck with a mound of overly salty nothing. Definitely not going back. This might be passe at the Sunday bingo buffet but definitely ain't Indian food.

This place is a solid 4.5 stars. The gentleman taking our to go order was super patient and kind. We ordered to go 3 dishes (pictured), spinach, kadhai chix, and chix biryani, and plain naan. All 3 were excellent, but the chix curry stood out.
