The awning doesn't say "Wonderful Foods Co" so just look out for the building number 2035.

MILK TEA: There's a hint of coffee taste to it! I first tried a sip of my friend's iced milk tea and quite liked but I have to have my own drink to have a real opinion of it. So I ordered a hot milk tea with boba and yup, it's good. And that slight hint of coffee was a nice subtle twist on a classic drink. It was very nicely done. Though it was on the sweeter side for me, it's still much better than the sugared up stuff you get from other places.

PASSION GREEN TEA: There's fruit bits or jelly in here! I couldn't tell exactly what it was but it tasted much better than the boba. I absolutely love the boba here but this drink already comes with fruit bits so the additional boba was a bit overwhelming.

HOT MINT GREEN TEA: Excuse me, but is this the mint green tea? "Yes." Hmm...are you sure? I didn't taste any mint flavoring at all. I can definitely taste green tea but mint? Nope. Had this drink twice and still never tasted it. Perhaps it's time to head back to the drawing board for this one.

PEACH GREEN TEA: There's peach bits! Can ya say yumm? If ya like subtle fruity green teas, this perfectly hits the spot. It's refreshing and not overly sweet.

OATMEAL MILK TEA: I just don't get it. I like oatmeal, I do, but as a breakfast item and not in drink form. People say that this is a true hit or miss and boy, did it miss for me by a mile! Why do people drink this??? It doesn't make sense to me and I make fun of my friend who actually quite enjoys it. It's different and if it's peeking your interest, definitely give it a try. You may not know what you've been missing out on. Or you'd regret spending $3 on it. If the latter, can't say I didn't warn ya!

There's candy, lots and lots of candy. And a slow cooker filled with tea eggs. Interesting combination, I know. But I've seen people get it so these guys know their target customers!

There's two small tables and about 5-6 chairs. Sometimes it's easy to get a seat but other times, just forget it. If it's not readily available when you're there, there's no point in waiting. The bathroom requires a key and you have to ask the staff for it.

Cold drinks are usually pre-made and comes out of a container in the fridge. Hot drinks are usually cold drinks put in a mug and microwaved in the back. Kinda saddened me in the beginning but it still tastes delicious and the boba is always fresh so no...

Wonderful Foods is a family-owned boba shop that has been operating since the early 90s. I've been coming here with my husband for years and still remember the candy containers that lined the walls and colorful handwritten menu. Although the inside has undergone a makeover, the charm of the shop and flavor of the drinks remains the same in my opinion. It's also one of the few boba shops open late (even though they close earlier than they did back in the day).

The lychee milk tea and white almond milk tea always hit the spot for me. They use finely crushed ice, which I find more pleasant than giant ice cubes because you don't lose out on the amount of drink you're getting and still get a cold drink. Their popcorn chicken is also the best I've had from a boba shop. They also recently added Taiwanese pork buns to their menu and I hope they keep it!

If you're craving classic flavors and bit of nostalgia, Wonderful Foods in the...

This is one of the original boba spots in San Francisco and I’ve been coming here since college. They use to also sell candy by the pound but they stopped after their renovations a couple years ago and just stuck with making drinks and snacks which I think a lot of people from San Francisco is use to their drink recipes, there’s a nostalgia there. They open later than most boba places and I think their salt n pepper chicken is one of the best, it’s meaty, crispy, spicy, sweet, and flavorful plus it’s topped off with some fried basil. For drinks I like their oolong milk tea, they make it sweeter and it taste different from all the other boba places i tried. Honestly I haven’t tried I bad drink from this place, their drinks won’t blow you away but every drink they make is solid. The lady that’s always there making our drinks is always...
