SG's Must-Try Hidden Gem Café 🍳 This Egg Cream Coffee Is Quite the Delight

My friend and I were looking to grab some quick coffee and chat briefly before some plans. We stopped by AK Fresh Roast around 11 AM on a Saturday and saw it was busy. After a brief wait, I ordered the black sesame latte. I waited 2 minutes before it was ready. The black sesame flavor was very rich and flavorful. Definitely give it a good mix so the flavor blends with the espresso. I felt my drink was a solid option. My friend got the egg coffee and also liked his drink as well. This store is located in the corner of the Blossom Market Hall. There are plenty of parking available in their parking lot. My friend and I went upstairs where it was quiet to chat. This store does accept American Express. Definitely sign up your phone number for the reward system.

It’s a gem! One of the beat Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, it’s located in the Blossom market hall. Here are my go-to drinks: Egg coffee, pandan coffee and ube coffee! Note to self, if you order pandan coffee, you can’t adjust the sweetness level (the owner suggested that though) So if you are sensitive to sugar, ube coffee might be a better choice (you can do 50% sweetness and it is still good) Croffle was yum too! The only suggestion would be the cup design, it literally spills everywhere. (Yeah it sucks) Even though the staff kindly put a tape around the cup, it was a mess. Other than that, def worth trying! So tasty! #bb1

Got the black sesame coffee, non-dairy (oat) 😍 and asked a bunch of questions for my process of elimination to make a damn decision because everything looks delicious AF on that menu.

That Latino male cashier gave me incredible service and knew exactly what he'd recommend. I rarely meet such decisive workers who take pride in their job and you can tell how much he trusts that their drinks are solidly great LOL. He knew and was so confident and when he wasn't sure about technical questions, he asked the boss and that chị is personable, honest, helpful, and upfront too.

The taste... I can taste how strong the coffee base is without disturbance from the sesame top layer. It's sweetened just right and not excessive but I asked for more sweetness and the boss happily gave me more. Love them...
