The food ain't bad. but the service and attitude was horrible. Even during this pandemic, I'm surprised they are so lack of customer focus.
I've order the crab noodle with tomato soup. It's not bad. But the flavor seems a little bland.
My wife ordered the chicken pho. The chicken was good quality and you can taste the rich chicken flavor.
Ice coffee was good. I had them before. This time I was buying it for the trip back. I didn't even drink it to save it for later. However, I forgot to take it when we leave. I found out after 3 minutes, so I turned back trying to get it and the lady owner said she threw it away because she didn't know if I'm coming back. I was upset of course because I haven't even put a straw in the cup and how hard it is to put it aside for a few more minutes? I literally was 20 ft away talking to my wife and she didn't even bother to call me to pick up the coffee. As seen of photo, it's untouched coffee.
So the arrogant attitude and lack of customer service will make me go support other business who will deserve my business than someone who simple not care about...
Read moreI only picked this location because this was the only viet food that opens late. Little did I know maybe everyone also had this as part of their consideration to why they chose this place.
The place is very small, limited table space, not good for large groups. So reconsider before coming.
The parking lot is very small for the amount of car that is in the lot. I spoke with the waiter, she stated that she isn't sure if people parking here are from nearby hotels not wanting to pay for parking as everything else in the plaza was closed besides the viet food and I can't imagine everyone in the parking lot was in the restaurant.
Anyways, if you do come during traffic hour (food traffic hour that is) I'd advise to park on the street so you don't get stuck in the parking lot trying to get out.
The food here was good, but not great, the food selection is quite limited, the waiter did forget to give me our spring rolls - but they ended up taking it off and giving it to us anyways (1 hour later after I asked them about it and them realizing they forgot).
But I did wish they have more...
Read moreI've been searching for some good Bun Bo Hue and I've been curious about the Bun Rieu. And I found this place on Yelp and one of my friends told me about it.
This is a very small restaurant. They have about 5-6 tables. Quick service.
Their menu was written on a chalk board on the wall. They only have about 5-6 items. They also have drinks (passion fruit iced tea, iced vietnamese coffee). I tried the passion fruit iced tea and it was pretty good.
The Bun Rieu (Crab Tomato Noodle Soup) was delicious! I tried it for the first time. For only $6.50 (small bowl), I got vermicilli noodles cooked in tomato broth with chunks of tomato and balls of crab meat. It was very tasty! The soup was hot, not spicy, and was slightly sweet. Very filling.
I can't wait to come back and try the Bun Bo Hue! I've heard it was pretty good too. :)
FYI, cash only. There's a decent amount of parking...
