111 Bakery Inc. — Restaurant in San Jose

I said and I’ll say it again. I am always down to try something new. And I’ll try anything once, whether it’s food or something else.

I was invited by my cousin. After watching a show, she took us to this bakery/deli. I would say it’s kind of a hole in a wall. It’s not big and there’s no dining. You just come in order what you want. I love going to there place because I know it’s going to be good.

We all got Bahn Mi sandwiches (I got the pork). I really loved the bread they used it looks big but was easy enough to stick your teeth in.

Now, the pastry. I can’t even begin to to tell you what each is called, you’ll just to look at the pictures and take my word for it. The things we ordered were all really good. One notable item the apple turnovers (might be called something else), those were delish. It’s like a mini apple pie.

The service is definitely quick. There’s not enough room in there to form a line. The price is great! I think I paid less than $10 for my sandwich. Oh by the way they...

I recently visited 111 Bakery and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Despite arriving first, I witnessed multiple instances of people cutting the line without any intervention from the staff. When I raised this concern with an employee, I was met with resistance and ultimately left without making a purchase. It's disheartening to see a lack of fairness in such a basic aspect of customer service. I strongly suggest implementing a separate line for people picking up orders to streamline the process and prevent conflicts between customers waiting to order and those picking up. Additionally, providing feedback to the bakery management might help address these issues and ensure a more pleasant experience for all patrons...

Why do i give this place a 1?

Here is why:

Quality is decent EXCEPT for the fact when they sell you molded products and don't take responsibility for it. I got super sick off of their lunar new year moon cake only to find all the ones I had left were molded. Seriously, sickly white mold.

That is why for appeal I give them a 0 because mold has no appeal to me. Mold makes you sick so why is that appealing at all?

Onto service and here is why I also give that a 0. I came back and showed them the mooncake and told them I got sick from it. Zero remorse, they said ok throw it away. Never apologized and did not give me a refund or exchange. That was the end of story and now I move on to call...
