The Noodle Soups were not hot. I ordered the 16 dollar spicy braised beef. They give you enough Beef ( good) but the soup became cold after 2 minutes ( I think they served it lukewarm....not even hot) so it just tasted like spicy oily cold soup. I had to give it to my Dad. I think he ordered the Wagu beef....it had a wide tray with veggies and beef but they did not fill it ( It look like small amount of veggies and beef). It did not look like it was worth 26 dollars with such small amount. I know you get free noodles for extra but the soup became cold after 5 minutes. So with cold soup you kind of lose your appetite for more noodle. To be honest, I dont think the noodles are very good. They taste like cheap rice noodles. I dont see how so many people like the cheap rice noodle. Each table has a sign telling people to give five star review and you get a free dessert if you do the five star review. I read alot of reviews with 5 star and realize they dont sound genuine ( either they dont speak english very well or the reviews just sound fake....no wonder since people just want to get the free dessert so many fake 5 star reviews). The most annoying part is Dad tip them 18 percent because they dont give you a choice ( they dont give you the option to choose less than 18 percent so you get pressured to tip that) For that amount, they should at least reheat the cold soup. The only good part of the meal was the black fungus appetizer had really good vinegar sauce...if they tell me what sauce that was I might change my review to 4 stars, but the appetizer was the only good part of the meal. Also, the pickled stuff in the jar was good too. They need to find a better bowl to put the 26 soup in to keep it hot. Since they use a wooden holder, they should use a metal bowl instead of plastic bowl which does not keep the soup hot for more than 5 min. Even when I go to Pho restaurants the soup always stay hot for more than 5 minutes. I alway ask Dad to go to Pho more but he wants to try different places. The taste in the Chinese soup is not complicated ( very simple, basic, almost boring taste whereas Pho is usually tastier). So the only good thing is the bowl of pickled veggies which I think is free...
Read moreListen up, dolls, mama walked into this establishment with sky-high expectations and somehow they managed to serve me looks AND flavors that left me absolutely deceased! 💀✨
First up, that Hot And Sour Woodear Mushroom 德宏傣味木耳 had these little black beauties giving me TEXTURE and TANG in all the right ways! The mushrooms were perfectly chewy and you KNOW mama appreciates good texture, with just enough heat to make my lashes sweat but not enough to ruin this mug. The balance of flavors was absolutely divine! 太好吃了!
But the real star of the show was that Signature Chicken Big bus Miishien 招财鸡肉过桥米线) because hunty, when I tell you this broth had me speaking in TONGUES! That white pepper hit harder than my contouring on a Saturday night, and I am HERE for it! The chicken was tender enough to cut with a fan, and those silky noodles were smoother than my leg shave routine, darling! This dish was absolutely 完美!
And can we talk about the toppings? It was giving buffet realness but make it FANCY! So many little treasures to choose from including corn, greens, mushrooms, and all the fixings a queen could want. I was living my best customizable life over there! 太棒了!
Now let me keep it real about the service because mama always tells the truth. The staff was fine, adequate, doing their job without any extra sparkle or pizzazz. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. They got the food to the table hot and fresh, which is really all that matters when the food is THIS good.
Overall, 575 Miishien served me everything I needed and more! The flavors were bold, the portions were generous, and the experience left me satisfied in all the right ways. Would I go back? Absolutely! Would I recommend it to my fellow queens? Without hesitation!
Five stars, no questions...
Read moreThe restaurant is right next to the AMC movie theater and features very high-quality, delicious fresh rice noodle soup dishes from the southwest region of Yunnan in China bordering Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. We tried their signature crossing-the-bridge noodle soup with wagyu beef and black truffles, where a gigantic bowl of steamy hot broth was served with thinly sliced wagyu beef, black truffle slices, pea shoots, corn, Chinese chives, morel mushrooms, wood ears, corn and other little dishes. Then the waiter threw everything into the broth and the foods were cooked in the hot soup right in front of your eyes, which was fun to watch. They said their broth had been simmered with whole chickens and spices for over 24 hours. If you like the noodles spicy, they have the pickles and chili oil made in house, which added additional layers of complexity to the dish. The end result was simply scrumptious and memorable. We also tried the spicy ground pork noodle soup and the Golden Triangle noodles, the latter of which was vegetarian and had a unique flavor, with poppy seeds in the sauce. The cucumber salad tasted really fresh and the pig ear salad was also very authentic (not too spicy but full of flavor). The owner was around. He was extremely friendly, and tried to greet and talk to every table. A one-of-a-kind place where the delicious foods were prepared with a great deal of care and creativity. We will be...
