The defect was not obvious at the store but it locks up if you pull in a certain way and I only found that while on a trip. So I took it back, well within their return window but the lady at the counter refused to take it back saying it has been used. Of course it was - that's how I found the defect. That's when she said I should have brought it back sooner. When I pointed out I was well within their return window, she won't answer, saying it's their final decision. I was left with no option other than filing a dispute with my credit card company and thankfully my bank refunded the money. In the end, I got my money back. TJ Maxx lost a long time customer. And their merchant account was probably penalized due to the dispute - all because they won't honor their own...

Came in the store looking for something in particular. Tried asking but seemed to be helped by an employee who ignored me and was not in the mood to answer my question or one who seemed like they couldn't understand me. I understand we're in a pandemic but it can't be used as an excuse for retail/customer service oriented field. This was my first time entering this establishment so I was not familiar with this type of store. So to all who shop please don't look for any type of customer service and don't look for social distancing as well because the patrons also are too close even with the marker. Not really organized, saw a lot of opened boxes, items with no price tags, dusty items on shelf, and thats just one side of the store. I didn't want to explore the rest and I definitely won't be back at...

Im pretty tired of this store having their employees on their walkie talkies follow me around like im a thief, I dont see them doing that to European or Asian customers and it’s really starting to feel like im targeted because of my brown skin color, first time it happened I spent $300 that day and today i bought an italian bag spent about $100 not much but this treatment is disgusting and I’m really sick of it. I dont want to spend another dime there anymore ive had enough and I hope you people at TJmaxx see this review I was there today with a disabled client pushing her in a wheelchair, Im a Mexican American woman and the security followed me everywhere in the store, anytime we walked by the exits security was blocking the door until we paid, WHAT IS WRONG...
