The Drink 7 Leaves Cafe is a well known tea cafe in SoCal, and they finally opened their first NorCal location. I ordered their Mung Bean Milk Tea while my friend ordered their Sea Cream Jasmine Tea. I've gotten their Sea Cream Jasmine Tea before so wanted to try something new. I quite like the Mung Bean Milk Tea, even though you can't adjust the sweetness, it was still good. My friend thought the Sea Cream Jasmine Tea was too sweet during their soft opening. But when he returned after grand opening, the sweetness got reduced and was like SoCal. The Miscellaneous The cafe is decent sized with good amount of seating...but the lines. The plaza also provides parking, though it gets packed quite fast during peak hours. The service is pretty quick, and the staff is quite sincere. Their menu is simple and straightforward with tea and coffee, but there is still a good selection. Pricing has a slight increase from SoCal, but average for Bay Area I guess. It is worth checking this cafe out...but go off hour or wait for the line.

It was many people when I got in here. Never tried 7 Leaves before but heard of it. The inside looks really nice and too many seats are already taken. I simply order Vietnamese coffee and it’s quite too sweet. Perhaps I should ask for less sweetness next time. The service is slow however. Too many people probably including those who came after me got their drinks already before I get mines. Don’t understand why though but maybe it’s because of all of the mobile orders. Some orders include more than one item and all I ordered is a regular-sized Vietnamese coffee. I have to ask the staff where my drink and probably forgot my order. Thankfully, they are able to fulfill it after I asked. Overall, the experience is ok but needs to be improved especially on service. The atmosphere is nicely designed, but a little bit of sweetness of the drink and speed of the service are definitely needed to be worked on.

I personally really like 7leaves and would visit again if I could. I don't get why people say 7leaves is overrated when it really isn't. There are great drinks and it's actually affordable unlike other places. Drinks have a base price of 3 dollars and additional toppings are only 55 cents. What makes this store unique is that they have pictures of all their drinks on the wall. As customers walk through the wall, we could decide what drinks we what based on the look instead of reading through all the drink descriptions if we're new. I personally found this really helpful on my first trip to 7leaves because I wasn't completely familiar with their menu and this made buying drinks a breeze. Even if there's a huge wait line during the weekends, it's worth the wait. The lines generally move quickly, but always try to go during weekdays to get your delicious drink without a line.

Really solid place for bubble tea and remote work. I rate places from a remote work perspective. Also service is exceptional. I've never been to the LA ones or have even heard about 7 Leaves before if that matters.

The line is long -- expect a 1 hour wait if you get in any time after 9 AM. Not sure what it's like after opening. The service is very good though. When we got to the front, we didn't feel rushed and the staff were very accommodating. Because my friend and I were staying there to study they said we could order something now and then have it made later without waiting in line which was really nice (we got something for the morning and then something later in the afternoon/evening).

Because we ordered so many, there were a few things they messed up on our order. They apologized and remade them immediately despite the long line and were very VERY nice about it.

And finally their bubble tea/coffee is very good. Recently went to Vietnam and their house special coffee is fairly spot on. I ordered easy sweet but was still a little sweet for me but it tasted great. I also tried the Matcha Soy (pretty good but didn't seem too special), and Jasmine Milk Tea (very good, you can taste real brewed tea in your drink).

There are plenty of outlets around the entire place and most people seem to only come to drink and leave so there were still plenty of desks when we came. Music is VERY loud though so bring some noise cancelling headphones if you got em.

Highly...
