Happy Donuts & Cronut (Berryessa) — Restaurant in San Jose

All Vegans all people with Allergies stay away from here, they lied to me and my family, kids who has allergies that their donuts were vegan and it’s not!! I

The first day they opened up me and my husband came in and was told this long story about how they don’t have donuts made with this or that!!

So I sent my daughter in to pick her out some donuts and she’s allergic to eggs , They told my daughter they don’t have vegan donuts! I was shocked because just a few days before their first day opening they same person said that they have vegan donuts and although me and my husband ate it, I end up with a nose bleed and I thought it was because maybe some other reason now I see that I had been exposed to things that I don’t eat. As a family with diet restrictions I decided to just have everyone on restrictions for food so we don’t accidentally mix things the kids can’t really have. I’m disappointed they lied just to get business!! How is this real!! I don’t respect a business’s opening up in my community and lying to others about ingredients just to gain business!! If I can rate them a zero I will.!!!! This is intolerable and saddling. Don’t come here they aren’t practice ethically.! Thank God she probably felt bad and now she says 2 days later they change the batter The lady appears to be sweet but I will take the truth over fake kindness!! Next time I will ask to see...

Originally going for Bagels for my co-workers, but they wanted donuts and two star rating.. but after good comments on donut from co workers, went up to 3.

So it was suggested for this place. Donuts were well made and fresh. Unfortunately I do not recommended, specifically because it is cash only and the lack of sanitizers. Again, would've been 2 stars.

I was going to pay with card, but I had to go to 7-11 and pay a withdrawal fee because of it (its right next to the shop). I don't like to carry cash, especially due of how cash is exchanged quite often and not clean. Not ideal during the pandemic.

Would I come back? No, I don't like places that do cash only. Great donuts, but sadly not my go to. I would rate the shop a 4 if I do cash carry, 5 if they had sanitizers...

i was raised by this place but honestly the donuts have fallen off :( the holes still hit but that's about it... the staff was sweet !! idk about the new owners though... they seemed like they were there against their will (when has this ever been the case at a donut store) it's still really cute though! i think the only thing the owners did was put the menus on a screen :P not terrible, but i would rather go to a supermarket for donuts and coffee that isn't... slightly overpriced and stale and...
