Best Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in San Jose

The one star is not for the food, food is always good, it is for the person that helped us over the phone, the menu clearly has numbers, so if I ask for a number 15 it means I want a number 15, we stated this over the phone at least 3 times, anyway, after ordering, we showed up, pick up or food and go home without checking our back, well, what do we get? A number 10 instead of a 15 ,no big problem, we’re only a block away, we come back to get our orders fixed and what do we get, attitude from the person that made the mistake in the first place , “You should say the name, it’s better than the number”,he said, not only that, he kept insisting we ordered a 10, between 10 and 15 there is a big difference, how bout you learn your menu instead of trying to make us feel responsible for you lack of interest in...

I've ordered from here multiple times and tried many different things from the menu, including a large pack (party platter). Food is solid all around and the mac salad is probably second to Ono based on what I've tried. Some things like orange chicken lose their crunch (based on cook method of the chicken and adding sauce) but is still good. The malasada are absolutely perfect every time I order them. Party platter reheats well also so leftovers are good...pretty sure my friend had leftovers for about a week and was still enjoying it. I’m actually going to pick up another order right now from this delicious place! We’ve been enjoying it since they first opened last year. The food is great fresh delicious and tasty. I’m not Hawaiian, but I love Hawaiian food I go every year to Hawaii and it reminds me of that beautiful time. This is definitely original and lovely way better than the rest out there so if you gonna choose Hawaiian barbecue the best!! We’ve been there probably 10 times in the last year and will continue going. Thank you for the great food and great service....
