I tried Lucy’s for the first time today. I stuck with the basics. Al Pastore burrito with rice, pico de gallo and extra onions inside. It was 13 bucks. There was an added 4% because you bought it here charge which I don’t really like just put the cost of the item on the board and quit trying to hide from it anyway that’s just me the salsas were really good. There were four different kinds to kind of mild and creamy one was medium and one was very hot. The chips looked and tasted like homemade very good just enough salt. The burrito itself was outstanding! Cooked through nice and hot rice was nice and warm. Tortilla was delicious just a very very good burrito. I’ll be going back for sure, there’s a whole bunch of stuff on the menu. A small seating area with about seven tables. There were a few people inside super clean! Everything was clean glass floors door the work area in the back looks super clean try it out.
I need to add something to this review. It’s now several days later. I went back a second time and tried another burrito. This time beef. Same partner ingredients as the last burrito. This one also was outstanding. Very beefy and juicy. To clarify the 4% only applies to credit card transactions. Cash price is as posted on the menu boards. Sorry about the error on my previous post.
Been back to Lucy’s 5 more times!! Outstanding. Man their salsa options are amazing. HOT🤯 if that’s what...
Read moreI asked them to NOT add pico de gallo to our burritos because it had jalapeño bits. What they DID NOT tell me was that they added a 50 cent charge for each burrito to do so. What?! They make the burrito right in front of you. This is actually less work for them, yet they're charging me to NOT add a sauce. On top of which, they didn't tell me about this added fee and I only noticed it later on my receipt. I know it is only 50 cents per burrito, but my complaint is about the principle of the matter. It didn't cost them anything to perform my request, yet they sneak in the extra charge. That seems so underhanded. Now, I've been going to this restaurant on and off since it opened and this is the first time I noticed this hidden fee, so I don't know how long it has been around. Overall, the food is good, the aqua frescas are satisfying and the service is usually quick. But after today, I'm going to limit my visits and consider other taquerias in the area. I would rate them higher, but I took off some stars for this sneaky...
Read moreBest breakfast burritos in town, truly. Fresh ingredients that are evenly distributed throughout the burrito, customization heeded, AND comes with a small bag of fresh fried tortilla chips or totopos. Salsas include red, green, and orange (the red is spicy but in a good way and I only put a few drops per bite). Burritos taken to go are placed in a brown bag with the salsa cups, napkins, and the baggie of chips.
The staff here are all very friendly and nice and professional. I have always thought this location to be clean and orderly as well. !Muchas gracias por la...
