Tucked away behind an apartment community, Stojanovich Family Park has a quiet, peaceful feel. It’s clean and well-kept—we even saw a county maintenance worker trimming back the brush during our visit. The walking bridge adds a nice touch of charm, though it can be slippery if wet, so take note of the signage nearby.
This is a dog-friendly park, with pet waste stations along the paths. However, there’s no dedicated parking, so if you’re not a local, you’ll need to find street parking nearby and walk in. The stroll down Union Avenue can feel a little risky due to fast-moving traffic, so be cautious with kids or pets.
The real standout feature of the playground? The oversized tires. My little one was absolutely fascinated—running up, climbing through, and imagining them as giant monster truck wheels. It sparked curiosity and adventure instantly.
Overall, it’s a small but well-designed park with lovely trees, thoughtful landscaping, and a fun play area. Great for a quick visit if you’re...
Read moreThe thing I love about this park is how well kept it is. It is clean and well groomed. I would recommend this park for people who are walking distance away since there isn’t any nearby parking. The public restrooms are surprisingly decent and clean! There is a variety of play options themed around Prune orchards. Features include a basic play structure, tire and “can” tunnels, plum seats, benches, winding paved path through park, grassy areas, baby swings, and picnic tables. I have on occasion seen harmless looking vagrants catching a nap in a back corner but the park is in a safe area and closely monitored. Things to note: fair amount of tan bark. Play area is shady but swings are not. This is a no dog park. I see a lot of families bring their own entertainment such as bikes and sporting equipment to supplement what there is to do. I could see how older children might grow bored more quickly than my toddler! Dec 2019 update: I believe leashed dogs are now allowed...

Although it appears tall with the water tower on top, the structure itself is low. There are two slides (a wide and a spiral), steps, an inclined ladder, activities, a look out bubble, and an underneath play area.
The park has plenty of shade and it was a perfect place for our post Tortoise Ranch picnic. The grassy areas were well kept with a flat section and hilly section. The dry creek area made for a fun spot to hide out. There were very clean bathrooms....
