Pizza My Dear — Restaurant in San Jose

I've ordered from these guys several times through the Slice app and it's ranged from ok to (just yesterday) never again. They have a bunch of good deals, so it's a tradeoff between good pizza or good prices where sometimes price wins. Yesterday was the last time ever. When I order pizza I always add instructions to please bake it extra well done in the hopes I'll get a crisp crust. Yesterday this meant the pizza was even less cooked than normal. At about 4:30pm I was heading home and ordered it to be delivered at 5:30pm so it would get there at about the same time I would. So what happens? My housemate calls me at 5:09pm because the pizza was just dropped off in the carport. It gets to sit around getting cold for 20 minutes before I ever see it because Pizza My Dear can't tell time, and in this case also can't understand written English. If I wanted to reheat cold pizza I would have bought it frozen from the supermarket rather than pay far too much to have it made/delivered. On a side note, the Slice app refuses to take any responsibility for any of it. Pizza My Dear offered a $3 coupon for my next order in compensation. As if I'd ever order anything from them again. Pizza My Dear is such a gem. It is super convenient, right within walking distance of my community on Union Ave, and it is my go-to for pizza. The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavor is spot on every time. Their crust is perfectly crispy and so tasty, honestly one of the best I have had.

They have plenty of awesome side options too, so there is something for everyone. Whether I pick it up or get it delivered, the pizza always arrives hot and ready to go.
