Cafes Quan — Restaurant in San Jose

The drinks is quite mediocre for the price. I accidentally went here because of the traffic and line at Phuc Long but I think I rather sacrifice that time to get the drinks there. I ordered the Vietnamese black coffee and the CQ egg coffee but it was just underwhelming for the price that it offered. It didn't deliver the caffeine that I was expecting and the black coffee was just too sweet. Staffs were oke, they seem to have a bit of confusion when I asked for certain things but it's not a big problem for me, what I care more about is the drink itself, which was quite disappointed as you have places such as La Ca Phe or Trung Nguyen that give more bang for your bucks. I would definitely give it a second chance but I don't think it will deliver what I want. If someone else enjoys it more then I'm happy...

I would have given this place a 4 stars but as for someone who has been to too many bubble Tea shops all over the Bay Area, it did not measure up to my expectation. I specifically ordered roasted oolong milk tea white pearl with 25 percent sweet and less ice but I got a small cup fills with 75 percent ice instead. I don’t drink coffee so I wouldn’t touch on that subject, Although I do hears from Coffee lovers around me that they served pretty good Coffee Flavors here. I’ve been here 3 times already since the grand opening usually meeting up with Friends. I do say, I definitely enjoy the Retro looking Vintage Vibes here...

I saw people claiming this place had THE BEST oolong milk tea in the Bay Area... so I needed to check out this place as soon as they opened! Located inside the Lion Plaza. You can't miss it. Very clean interior! (FYI - they do not accept American Express)
