Ruined My Son’s 10th Birthday — Rude, Unprofessional, Careless…

I normally never write reviews, but this experience was too much and I had to.

I ordered a strawberry cake for my son’s 10th birthday and they gave me coffee flavor instead. The kids couldn’t eat it, and it ruined the celebration.

When we placed the order, my husband FaceTimed me from the store and we picked out the exact design of a cake they had on display. I strongly feel they just handed us that existing cake instead of making the one we ordered.

When I went back to the store, the older lady who seemed to be the boss was rude, dismissive, and never apologized. She didn’t even look me in the eye. Instead, she coldly asked, “Why didn’t you bring the cake back?” and brushed me off with excuses like, “One person takes the order, one person makes the cake, one person hands it to you… how do you expect us to know?” That is their broken process — not my problem.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had bad service here. The woman who usually takes orders is always unfriendly, but I let it slide. After this, I’m done. This bakery treats customers like trash, as if they’re too rich to care and don’t need business.
