Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in San Jose

Love the sandwich! The service leaves a lot of room for improvement. The sandwich is a nice thick chicken breast that is not oily. The bun comes with or without butter and you should get a couple of pickles unless you tell them to take them off or in my case add extra, which did not happen. I went through the drive through on a very hot day. I ordered a meal (sandwich, drink and side), with chips and an unsweetened ice tea, an extra sandwich and a salad. I requested extra extra extra pickles (on the app you can order as many as 6 extra pickles) and ice all the way to the top of cup and then fill with ice tea. None of with happened. I get to the window and the girl standing outside hands me my salad then turns to talk with the girl inside. I see on the ledge a drink and a bag with food. I ask the girl outside for the rest of my order and she looks at me cluelessly. I then point to the stuff on the ledge. She has to check inside before she gives it to me. I check and see that the ice is almost invisible, ok maybe it melted, afterall a hot day. Then I check my sandwich, no extra pickles in sight, and one sandwich has one little measly piece of a pickle. I ask again for my extra pickles. I then check my salad, no dressing; I ask for my dressing. Girl says I was suppose to order that before I got to the window, I tell her I did and show her the receipt. She gives me dressing, still no pickles. I start to ask again for the pickles when girls inside hand girl outside pickles who gives me pickles with a look on her face that clearly shows her upset at me, as if I have inconvenienced her, and ruined her day. I think she needs a new job, or at least...

August 8th 2025 My first time ever having the number to to talking to a man in line. He suggested I try that. It's a spicy chicken. Patty between two pieces of bread and they offer you the new fangled lettuce, tomato and every other accoutrement they have. But I took the original pickles only. I was very happy when they said it was only pickles because I love pickles , there is no long wait in line like the drive-thru packed bumper to bumper or what is it with the driveways of these Chick-fil-As everybody is cussing and flipping each other the bird. I almost got out of my vehicle to stick up for this female but then I said equal rights Beach... She was wrong and she knew it. They were both wrong anyways The inside was very clean. The restaurant really went out of their way to keep clutter off of the table and to make sure that the patrons had a marvelous experience

And how about the little daycare center in the back where you can take your screaming child and let them run amok without bothering the rest of the Hoy? Polly But you couldn't get past that. There is a kind of gestapo vibe of the place The owner really did her duty on multitasking as I watched the workers avoid eye contact and almost fear interaction with the owner. I could only assess that they are happy or they are very careful at hiding the truth. Anywho, I don't know what all the hoopla is about these burgers. It wasn't all that great and what's up with...

There are a couple of chick-fil-as in the neighboring cities..they are all the same concept when it comes to food, but they all differ because of SERVICE. This location when it comes to service is pretty much slim to almost nonexistent. I came in at 2:30pm on a weekday (Wednesday 3/20/24)and the first thing I notice is - there’s four workers behind the counter and one customer already in front of me. I’m standing there and the employees are not even approaching the first customer to help him. The four employees are running around as if to avoid helping him. 2. Understanding that every store has their own rules. I feel customer’s request should be honored even if employees don’t want to - I’m referring to when customers ask employees for a soda refill from their sitting location. (SUNNYVALE’S CHICK-FIL-A goes by this rule every time) (they never fail on this part). One of the older employees (older gentleman) was the only employee who came up to my table and ask if I needed anything and was friendly. The rest of the store employees - not only do they not acknowledge the customer, when they walk by they pretend they don’t see the customer when they’re waving at them for help.
