I signed up for a membership in February and pay every single month, they even gave me a certificate for a free massage for signing up. According to massage envy if you donât use your massage or facial each month it rolls over to the next month, Iâm super busy and I never have time for myself so that was a must for me otherwise it wouldâve been a waste of my money. I reached out to them because I had a massage at the plant massage envy after I sent an email a lady named Penny called me back, she said she wanted to offer me a 90 minute massage didnât mean I had to continue with my membership she just wanted to do that for me, I knew it was a lie I knew it was her way of just brushing me off just like everybody else who works there. When I got my massage there I told the girl at the front that I needed a list of other massage therapist so that maybe I can pick somebody else next time because I didnât get the services I asked for at that appointment, The girl the front desk clearly wasnât paying attention to me because she wrote down the name of the girl that gave me my massage, hello I just said I had an issue with her. Penny tried to convince me that this massage therapist was great she said maybe she was just having a bad day, Iâm sorry I donât work my butt off so that I could get mediocre service is when I pay every single month, anyways I went for the 90 minute massage and it was relaxing but it wasnât what I asked for again, it was almost like the lady didnât understand my English or what I was asking for because I kept saying firm and she kept saying soft no firm a little softer LOL I finally just gave up and lay there and let her massage me just so I could get out of there. By the way this was a few weeks ago and I text Penny for her email address because I didnât want to flood her cell phone number which she gave me and she never responded weeks ago, I kind of expected that since everybody else that I ran across has been unprofessional and really act like they donât care about their customers, when I signed up they were really Nice and happy to take my money, Iâve had one massage and I signed up in February with a free massage you do the math oh yeah and by the way when I went to get my first massage there I also got a facial since I was supposed to have three rolled over, guess what Yep you got it I paid for my facial, incredible highway robbery I couldnât believe it, I also told Penny all of this information but again I guess no one just seems to care, itâs been almost a month And I gave them ample opportunity so now Iâm writing a review hopefully people will check out the places they go to before they give money and sign up for memberships......
   Read moreI called to make a missed payment on my member ship and was greeted on the phone by Kioana, she was immediately rude saying âwhat are you saying I canât even understand youâ mind you Iâm sick.. so I apologized and revoiced my request to process my payment. She then tells me my rate went up by $10 and that it does so every year which I was never informed at the time of signing up for my annual membership last year. I then requested to go ahead and cancel my membership.. it was radio silent and then I asked if there was a manager I could speak to as I was displeased with how I was treated on this phone call.. to my surprise Kioana voiced she is the manager. I let her know thatâs disappointing in regards to the way she spoke with me, a member of 1 year. The call then ended I was not given an apology or even a goodbye just disconnect. So I called back to verify my email for cancellation since our convo was ended without wrap up, and was asked to wait on hold and then I was hung up on instead of put on hold. I called back again and no one answered just straight to hold music, so I hung up and called back again and voiced my frustration that the phone etiquette was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Kioana was adiment that it was not her who hung up on me as there is other front desk employees. I advised her to maybe speak with her team then as this was highly disappointing. I will be renewing my membership but with another location because these girls are nothing short of catty and petty.. how they work in customer service and hospitality itâs BEYOND me.    Read moreThe woman who did my massage was very kind. The front desk girls were very helpful & sweet. I had a few issues though.We got 2 .60 min massages. I filled out the iPad before hand specifying which areas of my body I wanted them to focus on although I still wanted a full body massage., it didnât seem that they paid any attention to the info weâre were asked to give before hand about our health & preferences . I said I want to focus on my head/jaw (because of TMJ that I also stated on there file) and my back ,hands and feet. I let the therapist know I really needed my face/jaw massaged, but she told me I wasnât in the right position for that and never had me adjust. So sadly she never did massage my jaw. Then when she was massaging my arms/shoulder she literally scratched the heck out of me so deep with her nail. So hard it left a big scratch . I understand mistakes happen. But I also asked for her to massage my back arms hands. But She only did my upper back. She also mentioned several times I needed a LOT more sessions to be fixed.
