I am trying new restaurants with my son and ended up at El Maestro. My son ordered a shrimp burrito el Diablo and he couldn't eat it, because it was too hot. Later, we looked at what was inside the burrito, and besides the sauce being hot, the cook chopped up raw Serrano chiles raw with the seeds, and no wonder it was so incredibly hot!! Wow, the veins and seeds are 🔥 fire. I ordered an enchilada, and the sauce was not authentic, and the tamale was better. It comes with what looked like 3 to 4 tablespoons of beans, lacking flavor with Spanish rice, and the rice was hard and old. If you want good Mexican food, Adelitas in Campbell is the best so far on my list... I definitely won't come back here again. I'm very disappointed. I won't even mention the fact that an entire family was served before we were, and we ordered way before the family was seated. It's just not worth it. Save your money$$$

Very relaxed setting for a holiday Sunday morning. The tortillas are fresh and handmade which punches up the flavors a notch. Carnitas was very savory! No problem getting seating and service. Parking is abundant and free in the strip mall setting. If you want some tasty tacos and chill vibe, come here for sure!

I have been trying out many chimichangas in the Bay Area. Most of them have too thick tortilla. El Mastro had thin tortilla which was great. However the meat inside wasn't tasty and below expectations. The best chicken chimichangas ever was in Chico, CA, but sadly that restaurant has closed down.

I’m giving this place 1 star for HORRIBLE Customer Service!! Restaurants should really train people on their customer service skills!! I went in this evening to place a to go order for Albondigas, which by the way is excellent. Walked in SUPER crowded. It’s a Friday, so that’s to be expected, and it’s holiday season, I get it no worries. But the hostess didn’t say I’ll be right with, take a seat, sorry I can’t help you right now, NOTHING!! This heffa walked past me at least 5 times. The guy that was seating people acknowledged me and said she’ll be right with you. At least he had some manners!! Smh 🙄I waited patiently. Not only was she the hostess, but she was also waiting tables. So I understand your busy, but acknowledge the fact that I’ve been standing there for 10 minutes. I wasn’t going to write this review, but after seeing that half of the reviewers mentioning how horrible the customer service is, management should makes some serious changes FAST!! Your food can be the best in the city, but people like to be treated with respect. If you are the Owner and your reading this, I would strongly advise you to do some customer service training!! Just like chivalry is dead, so is customer...

f there was a 0 star rating, this is truly what this place deserves. My husband placed a telephone order and explicitly stated grilled chicken for my order (Enchiladas Rancheras and Enchiladas Suizas) as I do not eat red meat nor pork. He picks it up, is assured that everything is there and when we uncovered everything at home, I discovered some type of ground meat filling in my enchilada. I called and brought it to their attention and the individual, Alma, displayed a lack of concern and unprofessionalism as I was reiterating that my order was as wrong and I wanted a refund. She kept saying over and over that she couldn’t and insisted I drive back up there. How rude! Since it was there error, they needed to rectify the situation. Alma was the server who took the order on the phone and whose name is on the receipt so she screwed it up. She finally transferred the phone to Fernando and he was rude and unprofessional as well. He did nothing to help and offered store credit tomorrow instead of a refund. Please steer clear of this place as they have a low understanding of customer...
