Pictures and a written review don’t do Moonwake Coffee Roasters enough justice, but I’ll make an attempt. Upon entering, you’re met with extremely pleasing aesthetic. The colors are calming, the vibes are modern, and there are cool people inside. I love what they’ve done with their space - it’s very clear they had the interests of their customers in mind when they designed it because it feels like you belong already. The chair I sat in was so comfy, and the owners came to say hello to me. There’s even a set of more shallow furniture for the little ones you might bring along. Now to the drinks purchased. I got their seasonal drink, Squash Spice Latte and my better half, an iced Americano. Both drinks smashed it out of the park. I loved that my latte wasn’t too overly sweet or spice-y and I could taste the espresso. They even made an iced chocolate milk for my daughter who isn’t of coffee-drinking age, she loved it. I didn’t get a chance to pick up any of their pastries this time around, but I know I’ll be back. Until next time Moonwake 🌖! PS- the bathroom is also extremely...
Read moreThis is my #1 coffee spot EVER. It is the only place I’ve ever been able to have black coffee because you can truly taste the notes of their coffee. Their seasonal lattes are not to be missed either! (They pair their grounds so well) I love that their experimentation allows me to taste and experience coffee in a new way without being pretentious. The staff are very chill and welcoming. They are always up to talk about the coffees, make recommendations and overall just make sure you enjoy your time. The atmosphere is wonderful, modern but not cold, with spaces for no laptops at the pourover bar, to communal table, to comfy chairs in corners, there’s somewhere to suite your vibe. Also- the pull apart bread has no right to be as good as it is. It is tangy from the pepper and poppyseeds, light & fluffy from the bread. The mushroom tart has just enough bechamel. And the curry empanada is just well balanced.
I truly can’t rate this place high enough. This place is for anyone who is willing to delve into the world of coffee, but still wants that welcoming small town cafe...
Read moreI came here on a Sunday morning before 9 am and there was plenty of space to seat. The place has beautiful interior design. I ordered a seasonal latte with marzipan and other ingredients since it sounded special, but my friend and I thought the berry sauce masked the other flavors. I also tried the drip coffee and it was good. But the really great coffee was from the fancy espresso bar. You could really taste the flavors in the description. So I’m giving them 5 stars for this espresso shots and for the savory pastries! The savory pull apart bread was amazing and the mushroom tart was also really good. The guava pastry was ok, but the other ones were so good that I’ll definitely wanna come back. They sell sell coffee beans for around $23/ bag. We hung out here with friends for a while and really enjoyed it. But I would recommend coming here early and on a day when you have time. It started getting pretty busy after 9:30 am and the line was long. Also don’t come here in a rush because they take their time, but...
