Via Mia Pizza (Saratoga) — Restaurant in San Jose

Decided to try this place tonight based on the mostly positive reviews, and the available delivery. What a disappointment. Delivery was pretty fast, but the pizza was not much better than frozen. Generous on the pepperoni (though low quality), skimpy on the sauce, and the crust was a little tough. We also got an order of wings that are barely edible. The sauce on them was almost nonexistent. They were extremely rubbery, and had an unpleasant, but slightly familiar off taste that we couldn't quite place, but would most closely resemble the smell of slightly rancid meat that's been in the fridge a little too long. My wife and l each managed to eat one, but we will not be eating the leftovers. I also ordered a meat lover's calzone, which wasn't bad, but nothing I'd order again. We're sticking with...

I order pizza from Via mia sometimes in Saturday afternoon after my sons soccer team games, they have Halal meat. The pizza is terrific. they have wide range of choice, I would prefer to order the combination pizza that includes mozzarella cheese, salami,pepperoni, mushrooms, lingiica,peppers, black olives, italian sausage and ground beef. also they have another pizza called All Meat, they add all meat toppings with vegetables.

The service was fast and the team are friendly. the only disadvantage for me is they closed a good location in Santa clara (due to a fire in the plaza) the older location was better than the new one and off course...

I ordered four pizzas for pickup on Sun 1pm, and had a friend pick it up. It was a deal from a coupon, 1 large specialty and one large 1 topping that included a 2 liter coke. my friend was told the coke didnt come with it, then had to wait till 1:20pm for the order to be ready,and was told he was getting the coke as a compensation for the delay! Not only that, they mixed up pizzas and gave me a Hawaiian when i ordered bbq chicken, and no one liked it (it was mostly pineapple, not appealing)!
