West Valley Branch Library — Attraction in San Jose

I will say this is my go to local library, maybe it is the funding but it is very limited in selection for certain areas of interest. The other problem is the environment is super sterile, and not welcoming to sit and read at all. That being said the staff is very friendly and it's a great place to stumble upon something new. They do have a great selection of books and media in "foreign languages". I had a trip down memory lane with Arabic CDs from high school even. I do like to check out their kids books in languages I'm learning, as it's my comprehension level.

A small library with a decent collection. I may not be able to find what I need all the time but it’s the people behind a facility that can truly make all the difference! And one such person is Randall, the librarian who is always there to help and will always make our visit to the library a memorable experience. Lots of teen volunteers and other librarians who are always willing to help. Tons of kids activities which require registration, so keep an eye on their calendar.
