Male senior employee is extremely rude as well as the senior lady. To start, I entered and waited by the entrance to be seated for 5 mins without being acknowledged even after the senior male employee noticed me waiting. When the waitress brought the food to my table she made sure to throw the spoon on the table with dread. After I walked up to the counter to pay the senior lady demanded that I leave a tip… so I did even though her attitude was extremely rude throughout my dine-in stay. I find it surprising how even while being a regular customer at this restaurant that leaves reasonable tip amount, I am greeted with nothing but rudeness. Being a frequent customer of 2 years I can say I will def not be going here anymore. I should’ve realized long ago I am not welcomed here. Food is good, but not worth the horrible...

Ok, call me weird but I consider a Korean restaurant's ability to make a decent Bibimbap sort of a barometer of their whole menu. It's rice with meat and basically banchan (all those yummy Korean side dishes), all in a bowl. I got an order to-go and it was perfection.

This was by far the BEST Bibimbap I've had! A special treat was that the rice was that crunchy type, the fresh, expertly prepared banchan was next-level even without the usual spinach namul (which I didn't miss at all). Truly it was transcendent.

I'm planning to go back and eat inside next time to enjoy other things in their menu. Fantastic...

When you arrive, you write your name down on a clipboard by the door and then wait for them to call you.

I always order the same two things at Korean tofu places: seafood tofu and galbi. For the tofu, they offer a range of spice levels from plain to spicy. Mild was perfect for me. The galbi was tender, well-seasoned, and a bit thicker than usual so you get quite a bit of meat, although it was expensive (~$25). I also liked the small dishes they give you, although I can't speak to the kimchee since I don't like spicy food.

Waitress was super nice and gave the baby a free package of...

Try not to leave bad reviews on small family owned restaurants but this place was definitely not good The 2 ladies were too busy to be polite. That's understandable . The tables weren't cleaned up so the place looked really messy and unorganized as you walked in. Ordered bbq pork which was good but the 육개장 beef soup was probably the worst I had in San Jose. Very plain and too much of rice noodles in the soup. The beef was not pulled or shredded but the chunks of meat with gristles were in it. Would I go back,,, NO

Just go! Excellent, Cosy, Korean restaurant - with all your favorites. They serve six side dishes, of which five can be eaten by vegetarians. The seafood pancake can be made vegetarian, and was great. The mushroom tofu stew, and pork BBQ were both yummy. You might be sitting very close to other tables, but it is understandable for a family restaurant. The service is attentive and prompt.

We tried Beef bulgogi, seafood tofu stew, kimchi pork tofu stew, vegetarian dolsot bulgogi and veggie pancake - our favorite from the spread is the veggie pancake - super crunchy and so delicious! Highly recommend. We got the veg option (as opposed to seafood pancake) because one of our group was vegetarian. The seafood one probably is even better. Everything else is fine.
