If you’re searching for the true taste of the Himalayas, look no further than Himalayan Magic Masala, tucked inside West Gate Mall. This hidden gem serves up authentic Nepali and Indian flavors that will transport your taste buds straight to the mountains of Nepal.
From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. The customer service is exceptional — friendly, attentive, and passionate about the food they serve. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, the team makes you feel like family.
Now let’s talk about the food – absolutely sensational.
🔥 MOMOs (Dumplings): These are hands-down the best momos in town. Perfectly steamed or fried to golden perfection, the filling is juicy, flavorful, and seasoned with Himalayan spices that linger beautifully on the palate. Their spicy achar (sauce) is the real deal — bold, tangy, and addictive.
🍛 Goat Curry: Rich, rustic, and incredibly tender — the goat curry here is a masterpiece. Cooked slowly in traditional spices, each bite is a burst of deep, comforting flavor. It pairs beautifully with steamed rice or freshly made naan.
🥘 Nepali Thali: A stunning presentation of Nepali culinary tradition. You get a little bit of everything — lentils, vegetables, pickles, meat, and rice — perfectly balanced, beautifully spiced, and made with love. It’s a complete meal and a cultural experience on a plate.
🍜 Chow Mein: Stir-fried to perfection with just the right amount of smoky wok flavor, their chow mein is fresh, loaded with veggies, and seasoned with Himalayan flair. Simple, satisfying, and incredibly delicious.
Whether you’re craving a comforting thali, spicy momos, or a hearty curry, Himalayan Magic Masala delivers magic in every bite. It’s more than just a restaurant — it’s a taste of home for many and a delightful discovery for those new to Nepali cuisine.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore authentic Himalayan flavors right in the heart of West Gate Mall.

Read moreWe were in the area & had 45 mins to spare so thought of grabbing a quick early dinner.... Our first choice was sushi but unfortunately they were closed at that time (4 pm) so thought of trying HMM ...
They have opened just less than a month ago .... Restaurant was empty so had the place to ourselves... they have various options to choose from.... We love Nepali cuisine so knew their dishes very well...
Quickly gave our order & was enjoying the ambience listening to Bollywood music & Nepali songs... Restaurant has nice decorations & upon chatting with the owner's sister came to know they are fairly new...
We ordered- Chicken Momo with Jhol- I requested them to give me pipping hot since it was very chilly outside which they obliged very happily.Usually the jhol (sauce/chutney) comes lukewarm or room temperature.
Chicken Chowmein medium spicy- it was our regular noodles but the chili sauce made a vast difference to the taste... I enjoyed it very much.
Traditional Nepali Thali with Goat- we love Nepali Thali very much u get to taste various things like the black eye peas curry vegetable , green leafy vegetables like Bok Choy , goat curry, dal ( yellow dal) which was delicious, my most favorite pickle potato, peas with mustard & some carrots, cucumber slices, rice & flatbread (roti) with papad. Everything was delicious... only thing I found that some pieces of goat meat was very chewy due to the muscle so had little difficulty ...this usually happens when there are different parts of meats mixed.... Usually I prefer the leg pieces. Other then that everything was very good.
We loved all the flavors , we managed to finish the Thali between both of us & tasted few bites of noodles & little bit of momos rest we packed for later...
Service was very good we will come back here to try their other food choices...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Himalayan Magic Masala, a Nepali restaurant, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience. Our evening was made even more memorable thanks to the excellent service provided by Mr. Pawan Sharma. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that Pawan Sharma possessed an impressive knowledge of the cuisine, and his passion for food shone through.
What struck me the most about Mr. Sharma was not only his expertise but also his delightful sense of humor. He went above and beyond to ensure that our group of 10 people had a fantastic dining experience. Every one of us left the restaurant with a smile, fully satisfied with both the food and the service.
Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of incredible. The momo, a traditional Nepali dumpling, was a standout dish that left us craving for more. We also decided to try some extra fried chowmein, and it was simply excellent. The Nepali-style chatpat was an explosion of flavors that had us all hooked, and the Mustang Aloo fry was equally amazing.
While the Mango lassi was a tad thin for our liking, Mr. Pawan Sharma was quick to respond to our request and made it thicker by adding some yogurt and other ingredients. It's this kind of attention to customer satisfaction that sets Himalayan Magic Masala apart.
In overall, this place is nothing short of amazing. Mr. Aashish, the owner, and his team, including Pawan Sharma, clearly have a great deal of potential, and I sincerely wish them the best for their successful business endeavors. I can't wait to visit this place again and savor more of their delectable offerings. If you're looking for authentic Nepali cuisine and top-notch service, don't hesitate to pay them a visit. You won't be...
