Definitely 5 stars out of 5 stars. I loved this experience. It was great to step out of my comfort zone and try something new and exciting. Our group went to Break Stuff San Jose in the beginning of July and had an amazing experience. It's easy to schedule an appointment. There is lots of communication and reminders before your scheduled event. They also tell you to create a playlist of music that you are able to listen to while you are smashing stuff. There are different packages to choose from listed on their website. Our group decided to do a combination of glassware and electronics and let me tell you it was a lot harder to break than expected. It ended up being a full body workout. The owner was wonderful, friendly, and very helpful. At first, I didn't think 30 minutes was going to be long enough especially for a group of 5, but by the end we were all tired. It's a great workout and an overall fun experience. I highly recommend checking out this place. it's something different you can do with friends and family. I will definitely be doing it again.
The only negatives I have about the experience, which werenât completely terrible, was the parking situation and not having more tools to use/choose from when smashing stuff. Luckily, our group scheduled our time on a week day and for a late time so parking wasnât too hard to locate, but I would assume going during a busier time might make it more difficult to find parking, so just plan ahead, maybe carpool or give yourself extra time. In regards to the tools, I personally wished we had a few more tools to work with especially since we had a larger group.
All in all, I still highly recommend this awesome experience for all occasions whether itâs a date night, girlâs/boyâs night out, celebrating something special, or you just need to blow off some steam and...
Read moreI called for information and I was told to book over the phone for a good deal. I was texted a link and used this for booking, I paid in full for a weekday slot to celebrate my boyfriendâs birthday. Upon arrival the guy who greeted us was super chill, though we noticed he smelled strongly of alcohol and weed. We were supposed to have 2x 30 minute sessions but the guy told us to go together instead, I had to uncomfortably leave my purse and belongings outside the room unattended. There were only 3-4 items and we finished in less than 30 minutes. The guy reluctantly brought in two more items after we asked if there was supposed to be more. He lectured us on how they were doing us a favor by opening shop for us on a day theyâre typically closed and that we were getting a good deal. I didnât even realize when I was booking that theyâre typically only open on weekends, we could have booked a different day had this information been shared initially. We decided to just leave because he really wasnât doing us any favors and his attitude totally...

My girlfriend found this place through word of mouth. She thought it would be a good place for me to let loose and take stress out. I'm a cook in a Corporate kitchen. Pretty sure that says a lot with what I deal with! Aannyyy whoo. Our reservation was at 12pm today. We ordered the annihilation package! And we got a request to play our own music. Walked up to the location and met Dan. He was very welcoming. Informative in what we are going to get ourselves into and of course safety. He also spoke about the materials used and where they are being recycled. Love how everything's local and keeping it local. We wore accordingly to what was said on the site before showing up. But I would like to add on in bringing a face mask just so to not have to breathe in any debris or dust. And if you are wearing a hoodie or sweater try and not have the ones with open pockets. Other than that it was fun, safe, and enjoyable to Break Stuff! Definitely going back soon! Thanks again...
