Starbucks — Restaurant in San Jose

I mobile ordered a matcha green tea latte with soy milk, when I received the drink, the soy was chunky and sitting at the bottom. I had already started driving home when I noticed, but thought it was an easy fix to get my drink right. So, I drove back to have my drink remade. I told them my problem, the drink had chunky soy and tasted off. The employees were super nice, but when they gave me back my newly made drink the bottom was completely covered in separated matcha powder and chunky soy bits yet again. I told them, once again, my drink had chunky particles and the shift lead told me that "Matcha green tea lattes with soy just do that" which I know for a fact, do not just do that. Starbucks' soy milk gets chunky when left unrefrigerated on the counter for too long. I didn't ask to have the drink remade a third time because the store was closing soon and I didn't find the drink worth the effort to have remade. Still, disappointed in the fact that the staff could not correctly create my drink and told me that the reason the soy particles sat at the bottom was because "matcha and soy...

I hope the owner actually reads this review since it's obvious they didn't read Penelope's (below) since they thanked her for a great review. She had a legitimate complaint and said she wouldn't be back to that location.

Frustrating. For me, I looked several times and the site says there's drive-through and there's not. I went out of my way to find a drive-through which wound up not there which made me late for a meeting to which I was supposed to bring people's orders. Been to this location several times and never had a bad experience until now. Got my iced drink and right when I took a sip I didn’t realize majority of my drink had spilled all over me because they gave me a fully cracked lid. When I went back to address that I was given a broken lid, which was noticeably spilled all over my clothes, they proceeded to chuckle and ask if I wanted a new lid… what??? is that not obvious? After I got my new lid and was attempting to still clean my drenched hoodie they ask “are we good here?” I usually don’t even complain about service but this left me feeling quite upset.
