TK Noodle — Restaurant in San Jose

The restaurant was basically empty except for two tables taken up by latino families but the host only allowed us to sit at 1 particular table

The host, a guy with a white shirt, wouldn't leave our table for us to review the menu, he stood over us while we reviewed the menu at THIS LOCATION.

The menu has stickers pricing almost everything at 14.50,but we were charged 16.50…every other tk noodle we visit, the soup is 13.00. The toppings were stale.

We ordered Strawberry smoothies that was too red,too sweet to be natural, chunks of ice,not smooth and unfortunately undrinkable for my guest. I think they were made with strawberry syrup not frozen strawberry fruit like my favorite location.

We asked for water, Kirkland water bottle for 1.00 charge.

He refused to add extra Wontons to our order, for the soup, because it already has wontons. We were willing to pay for extra wontons, but they refused to sell us extra wontons.

The rice noodles and egg noodles served like they had been sitting in water for a while

The cashier and “host” were staring at us the whole time we ate,it was very uncomfortable. I still tipped.

We, my family and I, are familiar with TK NOODLE. We frequent the chain but our favorite location was closed today so after a decade of not returning to this location, we gave it a try today.

The bus boy was Mexican and seemed concerned and confused as to why we weren't enjoying ourselves but I was worried he was working really hard for horrible bosses. The vibe is off.

I paid with 3 20s. I got a 5 and 5 one's...no change. They kept my change.lol. Im not petty, so I still left a tip and LEFT.

Go anywhere else.

THIS PLACE IS SHADY. *AND...

I have been here a few times. The food is always good, served hot and everything cooked just right with good portions. What I don't like about coming here is how the waiter rushes people so much, especially when it comes to ordering. He seems to always be the waiter whenever I eat here.

Today, he walked up to a family's table with their tab while they were all still eating. He waited anxiously at the table asking to get paid while they are in the middle of their meal. I saw him stand there for what seemed like minutes as they scrambled around trying to find their money, only for him to say they do not accept card and must use their ATM machine located inside their restaurant. He proceeded to sit at the table across and stare them down until one of them stood up in the middle of eating to withdraw money. They left without finishing their food.

After aggressively cleaning up their table, he came over to me with my bill. Luckily, I had my cash ready but the guy is still very ridiculous for the way acts...

Not definitely a good experience, we've there couple times and everything was acceptable until this last time when we told the server about the soup meet tasting a little weird, he just said ok but didn't do anything about it so we asked him to replace that soup for a different dish that's when he talked to the manager who was totally grumpy and said if we don't like the food we should go somewhere else, I mean as customers we have the right to let them know nicely if there is something wrong with the taste of any any dish but they just want you to eat, pay and don't complain or else, definitely poor customer service hopefully they work...
