Dynasty Chinese Restaurant offers a decent dining experience with its dim sum and duck dishes during afternoon lunch. The ambiance was pleasant, with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere suitable for casual dining. The dim sum selection was varied, although some dishes lacked the expected freshness and seemed reheated. The flavors were satisfactory overall, but not exceptional.
The duck dish was well-prepared, with crispy skin and tender meat, but it did not stand out compared to other similar dishes I've tried elsewhere. The portion size was adequate for sharing, making it a good choice for groups. However, I found the pricing slightly on the higher side considering the portion sizes and quality of some dishes.
Service was friendly but could be more attentive during peak hours. It took a bit longer than expected to receive our food, which impacted the overall experience. While Dynasty Chinese Restaurant offers a solid selection of Chinese cuisine staples, there is room for improvement in terms of consistency and service efficiency to elevate the...
Read moreRecently, my experiences at Dynasty have left me feeling disappointed. The quality seems to have declined, particularly with the hargow which now sticks together and loses its outer rice wrap too easily. The rice crepe rolls lack attention to detail in their rolling, and it's frustrating to find them consistently in short supply. Worst yet, the $3.50 per person charge for tea feels excessive, even if youâre all sharing one pot. Dim sum servings have become less plentiful, and there have been instances where our table was skipped. They only provided 5 shrimps for the order of honey walnut shrimp. The peking duck and pork belly is always cold, I wish to see them put this in a heated cart. Also, would love for them to provide good chili oil, vinegar, and light soy sauce as the one chili they have is lacking in flavor and spice. Overall, I hope to see improvements in these areas to restore Dynasty to its former standard...
Read moreDynasty Chinese Cuisine on Story Road is a go-to for weekend dim sum and large family gatherings. The space is massive, with banquet-style seating and carts rolling by with staples like har gow, siu mai, and BBQ pork buns. Dishes arrive hot and fast if youâre seated near the center, though service can be hit-or-miss in the outer sections. The menu leans traditional, and while prices are slightly higher than average, portions are generous and consistent.
Parking is plentiful but fills quickly during peak hours, especially on Sundays. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with elevator access to the second floor, and high chairs are available for families. Vegetarian options exist but arenât clearly labeled, so asking staff is a good idea. Itâs a solid spot for dim sum lovers who donât mind a little hustle and bustle...
