They were out of the food and drink we wanted to try. (Chamango, Lemon Pepper and Cajun Fries). Ordered Starboy, Sunset Peach, Curly fries, and garlic noodles instead. Noodles were oily and no garlic flavor (I would like to add points for the chunks of scallions in the noodles though). The curly fries were also oily, and had no flavor. Considering the cost (9.9$ for garlic noodles and 5$ for curly fries) very disappointed.
The drinks were ok, nothing to rave about though. The Sunset Peach (strawberry, peach, and orange green tea) would have been better had the strawberry been over utilized this overpowering the peach and orange.
Cashier was friendly and we'll versed in products, giving this place a two star because of her. She was amazing!
Will only return to try the Chamango, although we will call beforehand to make sure it...
Read moreThe grand opening was today and seeing the Instagram post I decided to try it. I went here my friends and wife to try it. We got the chicken feet, rice paper salad, a few drinks, and the calamari head. The line was out the door but they got it down pretty fast. For a grand opening they did good. The wait was too long and the food was good. If you spend more than $50 you get to enter a raffle for a prize. When I came I actually met a few familiar faces, those working and some attending the grand opening. The decor was amazing gave me some vn vibes even the display box they have like in vn. There were a lot more items I wanted to try like the rice cake sandwich with pork belly however they were out. The calamari heads was a plus for me because I don’t know anywhere else that has this. Come by and...
Read moreI was lucky enough to stop by during Mộc Delights's soft opening on the first day, January 3rd!!
With it being the first day, it was amazing to see the shop so busy and loved! The ordering process was seamless (order up front, get a number, and wait for your order).
I grabbed the sizzling beef plate (bánh mì chảo) and the lychee green tea with boba (trà vải chưởng). The beef plate was flavorful with the nice touch of the salad on the side. The drink was yummy and would be perfect on a hot summer day.
The touches of the Vietnamese culture from the mural of street restaurants, bamboo hats, and street cart on the side were beautiful. This will definitely be the go-to spot for late night eats!! I'll for sure be coming back!!
