Downtown Cupey — Restaurant in San Juan

Imagine living next door to blasting music, six days a week, having no peace at home, unable to sleep (including your baby). Now, imagine trying to reason and negotiate alternatives with the owners and being disrespectfully shut down and unheard. This is what dozens of families go through since summer, when this place opened to the public. No one is asking them to shut down their business, but to be CONSIDERATE and have empathy and RESPECT to the surrounding community by LOWERING DOWN THE MUSIC. I will not support this place ever and will make sure to spread the word about this situation, and will support the community’s efforts to be heard in any way. Owners should be ashamed, but your true colors are showing; it seems that you forgot that social media is a powerful tool....

Great for beer & pizza. Mostly little known but great tasting styles and types. A few on tap. Plenty of space and room for people and cars. Mostly young college groups. Crowds start slowly but by noon they keep pouing in. Hardly any hard liquor, no wine.. No cash, only credit or debit cards. (No Amex). No table service (rare) but lines are quickly served at the counter. The employees were very nice and helpful. I did not give a higher rating because of the few choices in beverages and food. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!! I've been here a couple of times and was originally enthusiastic about its location and food offerings. Unfortunately, I've been hearing people complain about how loud music is played, especially at night, and the lack of consideration for the surrounding community. I'm all for supporting local businesses grow but I'm more than willing to spread the word when a business is not concerned about the comfort and safety of its neighbors.
