Not a bar person but while in PR on another solo trip I wanted to hear some live music 🎶 so I came across some reviews and decided to check out this place .
I enjoyed the atmosphere of a cheerful and respectful crowd, I’m not a crowd person but I tend to blend in here and there….Lol
Nice art vendors out and people enjoying themselves, mingling with one another and dancing with one another. Very chill seemed like your regular locals since this was also near the University.
I road my scooter 🛴 on a 45 min night ride to this place….. I was adventurous, it was raining on and off , made it just in time for the last set from the musicians. It was nice and I always appreciate the talent musicians share, big or small.
Would like to see the place during the day and no rain ☔️ but my night adventure was perfect . The staff and people were friendly and even the crowd was friendly. Loved it 🥰
I know they have other musicians that play there, but I wasn’t down in PR that long to see the ones I was interested in but I was well pleased the night I went . July 2023…… sorry I’m late writing a review 🥸
I enjoyed some of the art displayed at this place, some art not all of it was to raw for me….. lol ( hint-hint) but I came for the music 😉 and was outside .
For live music 🎶 I would recommend coming here. Thanks El Boricua for the...
Read moreGreat place. It is the Puerto Rican version of an Irish pub, but everything happening outside. You go inside only to order your drinks at the bar, or if you want to shoot some pool. On Fridays there's live music on its huge porch (outside, of course) and people do the Lionel Ritchie thing "dancing in the street." Among the regulars are University of Puerto Rico (across the street) students, but don't be intimidated, because the crowd is very diverse (including some respectable old-timers). Go for a beer🍺, order an "empanadilla" if you crave something solid, and dance...
