I have emailed them asking Laura or whoever is in charge if they fixed the hot water problem. The hot water line was compromised or the people that worked there at the time just tainted the water so that i would not return. I made my first initial purchase in this place on the 23rd of april 2025 and I was unfortunately homeless, due to my unemployment checks at the time i was able to purchase some food as a respectable gesture which came up to $7 dollars. They did not give notice prior that something was wrong with the water. I was having a difficult time breathing after drinking the water as if it was HO and not H²O. Not only that but prior, I entered the place and few times and was asked to leave after about the 3rd time if I couldn't make a purchase when he clearly saw i was homeless. He then stood there as if he wanted me to leave immediately as if it was an emergency. I was already showing him proof that i was trying to leave. And yet my hygiene and everything was in order, i was just homeless, it's as if he was trying to provoke me. The whole time i would stop in there afterwards for months making close to an minimal purchase everytime, i didnt see nobody being asked to make a purchase and i saw at least 2 regulars in there almost everyday but i dont spend my time checking things like this because i keep myself busy with other meaningful tasks. They wanted me to make a purchase everytime. I'm a busy person like other busy people and it's 2025. I don't see how this place is going to have it's success when it's prices are too high, they love the east coast possibly due to their television programming here in Puerto Rico but they don't factor in guests from other parts of the United States or world. And I been to Asian grocery stores that offer great canned premium coffee from Ethiopia and Japan, that is way cheaper. I don't see how they are going to thrive patterning themselves off of Starbucks. When dunkin donuts offers great coffee as well as many...
Read more787 is honestly a hidden gem. The vibe in there is warm and chill the kind of place that just feels like home the second you walk in. It’s my go-to spot to study because it’s calm, cozy, and has just the right energy to focus without feeling tense.
Staff always make it better. Super friendly, always on point, and just makes the whole experience feel personal.
The coffee? Perfect. Smooth, bold, full of flavor, and never too strong. And the empanadas? Man… crispy, golden, and packed with flavor they hit every time but the banana bread….. gets me everytime!!! You can tell they actually care about what they serve.
Whether I’m studying, catching up with friends, or just trying to unwind, 787 fits every mood. If they ever added a rewards program like a free coffee or pastry after a certain spend I’d probably never stop going….(. I going to keep pushing for it lolol)
Bottom line: 787 isn’t just a coffee spot it’s part of my routine, and a big reason why I love...
Read moreI'm not gonna name anyone because the management of this place asks employees to pretty much heckle customers into giving specified reviews. I know this because I saw the manager argue with an employee on why they got a review of less than 4 stars once.
Unfortunately, the review manipulation has worked because for some reason this place is always full of tourists despite the terrible coffee that tasted like bug spray on multiple visits.
I felt the need to write a review because despite this, the employees are very kind and hardworking people under the thumb of terrible management and a bad product.
So if you want a place you can sit down and work for long hours, this place is perfect. But it's gonna cost you having to swallow their expensive mediocre coffee when you're surrounded by much...
