Today my sister and I visited the place to try the food, the drinks arrived quickly which we liked a lot. Then we ordered Queso Fundido as an appetizer and we were specific that we wanted it without CHORIZO (I'm a vegetarian). The appetizer was brought by someone from the kitchen and it had CHORIZO and a lot of it. We looked around for our waiter, we didn't see him. My sister ate the cheese with CHORIZO and I ate the chips. Then we saw the waiter and we called him to order, we told him that we had ordered the Queso Fundido without CHORIZO and he tells us that what is on top "is something that they put on top, but it is not bacon or chorizo" we tell him OK. When he brings us the bill he charges us $2.00 for the CHORIZO, we told him that we didn't order it. He pretended to go to the kitchen to talk to someone and came back saying that since we had eaten it he had to charge us the $2.00, we paid the bill and left. But we are not going to go back, something as simple as ordering the dishes well and bringing things to the table well and apologizing to the customer when a mistake is made with their dish is the courtesy that the customer who is consuming in your restaurant deserves. I leave a 15% tip to the waiter, but we will not sponsor places where are not honest with...
Read moreThe drinks were ok, jalapeño margarita had a nice kick but lacked balance. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was basically average. I can see the quality of the ingredients, but flavor was lacking. I did however liked the flavor of carne asada tacos, I appreciated the homemade flour tortilla but would have preferred the traditional corn. The tostada was soggy due to being on top of refried beans. The fish taco wasn't crunchy and was boring. The salsa verde and red sauce also lacked flavor. The guacamole was good but $11 for a small cup serving. I get this is a Nuevo latino vibe, but it just didn't deliver...
Read moreWe really enjoyed this place. It is a restaurant with also a mini mart for some Mexican food items. They had a couple of dishes that are not very common in local Mexican restaurants, for example, torta sandwiches with broth to dunk. Mine was very tasty. My other company had tacos. No queso fundido, though. The personnel was very courteous. We experienced a slight delay in our order but I guess the place was getting crowded (we went for lunch a bit early in the morning). Parking...
