Sogo — Restaurant in San Juan

Pretty good selection of Asian food.

Sogo has a bunch of delicious options, and generally, you can find something you enjoy quite easily.

The atmosphere is pretty good, with a dim, cool store welcoming you as you come in. They have a TV in the background that plays cake creation videos, which is such an innovative way of keeping the customers entertained.

Genius.

Good service, and it's clear they keep their restaurant very clean. I even saw them cleaning up with a broom in-between clients. Very responsible.

The food is quite good. A bit dissimilar to other Asian cuisine where the food is overpowering in flavor. Still, it's enjoyable and well presented.

Generally, this is a pretty good stop for your lunch or dinner needs. Especially if you're feeling fried rice, sushi, or something...

This establishment provided an excellent experience. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was exceptional, and the bathroom facilities were well-maintained. The food presentation was impressive, and the atmosphere was well-balanced, with music at a comfortable volume. It’s a great spot for a quick bite. The service stood out as particularly welcoming—unlike some other establishments, we were not rushed after finishing our meal. While it was a bit pricey, the food was undeniably tasty.

Our order included the following:

• 2 Mongolian Beef ($22 each) with Fried Rice ($3 each)
• 2 Shrimp Tempura Rolls ($11.75 each)
• 1 Lemonade ($3)
• 1 Sprite ($2.50)
• 1 Fried Cheesecake ($9) with Vanilla Ice Cream ($4)

We like this little place in Miramar. The staff (all Asian, which is unusual in PR) were very friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient (but may be a little tricky for parking…we walked), right across from the artsy movie theater. The food was hot and we enjoyed the eggplant dish. The vegetarian noodles weren’t terribly exciting and didn’t offer too many vegetables, but we zhuzhed it up with some sriracha. They do offer vegetarian dishes on the menu, but it isn’t super extensive. Prices reflect the area (a bit higher). Still,...
