Sin Mesura — Restaurant in San Juan

Sadly, I have to give two because we were very pleased with our previous visits. Yesterday, we arrived to a nearly half full seated salon; order 2 mojitos, 1 bottle of water and 1 appetizers (bruschetta with albahaca, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and a vinaigrette). First, the 2 mojitos arrived much likely as "piraguas" because the glasses were full of ice; even when fully drank. Second, two of the 3 brushettas' served were burnt. I explained, in detail, to the bartender and a lady who appeared to be in charge what happened to us. Although they tried to make up things, it was too late. If those drinks and an appetizer passed thru the bar and kitchen's scrutiny to customer's table; we're obliged to leave and go to other place or home. Staying and paying for more was not an option. We stopped here simply because we were hungry and it looked like a good idea. This turned out to be an amazing idea. The service was friendly and even fun. The bar tenders were fun to watch as they made our drinks. We had a Margarita and a sexy Vibe. Both drinks were very good. We ordered the Grande H&P pizza. The pizza arrived and it was beyond our expectations. It was truly one of the best pizzas I have had on the island. The crust was buttery, the sauce was slightly acidic, the mozzarella had the perfect amout of stretch in it. The stone fire char on the bottom was delightful, The flashes of honey mixed with their small pepperoni pieces made every bite of this pizza amazing. I recently visited Sin Mesura now on Zona Tres in Cupey. They primarily serve pizza and pasta, and while the food is average, it's nothing exceptional. I recommend avoiding the skirt steak and mashed potatoes. The cocktails, provided by La Barrita del Medio, are decent but pricey. The service needs significant improvement; I had to ask for my bill three times and waited about 30 minutes to pay. I think, they were way better in their previous location.
