I order from this location a couple of times a week for breakfast or lunch via DoorDash. Today, when my order arrived, I was disgustingly, surprised to find a bug at the bottom of my Tropical Iced Green Tea. I reached out to the store and told Dominique, the rude woman who I assume is a manager of some sort, about what happened, and to say that she lacked empathy for a customer's negative experience wouldn't even begin to describe the experience. As the conversation tensed, she immediately removed accountability from herself saying, "I didn't make the drink," and proceeded to tell me, "Ma'am, I don't need you to tell me what . . ." after I tried to suggest that her team needed training on cleanliness and attentiveness. Customer service has gone to hell. There was no empathy, no accountability, no genuine apology, and no appeasement for sending me a gnat/fly bathing in my tea. Needless to say, I'll NEVER frequent this location again because not only is the store dirty, the manager is not open to retraining her team. I called the District Manager, Lisa. No answer. I've been using their mobile app due to the pandemic,and if I don't seem to get my order in as soon as they open, they either manage to get it wrong, or they take a half hour after the projected time to make it. The final straw was when I got a half full cup after waiting on my order for a half hour after the app said it should be ready. I changed to another, smaller, local coffee shop and I'm exponentially happier. Apparently Peet's doesn't seem to care about my business. Update: I used the rest of my purchased credit I had here. I used the online app and ordered my usual with the "Reorder" button. Surprise! They got it wrong (and approximately 20 minutes late). Read moreDisappointed on how this location is Not clean. The pastry station glass needs to be wiped down and the condiments dispensers needs power washing. Maybe a Health and Safety reminder course can be offered to the Kind Employees with focus on washing of hands, and that you don't wipe your mouth open handed and resume fixing the beverage. I believe once these observations are corrected this location can receive an easy 4 score. Miss the orginal store manager. On 12/26/18, I did mention my concerns. I was told "we are working on it".
