During the pedicure she asked if cutting the sides of the big toe hurt. When I said it was okay she decided to go deeper and harder (like did she want it to hurt, I dont understand?) She grabbed a piece of my skin with the cutters and pulled it back. I raised my voice and said twice "thats the skin no that's the skin" but she did not stop. Just pulled it up completely tearing my skin off. It hurt so bad. Something out of a horror movie. I was bleeding non stop and she was panicking trying to get it to stop. I told her I didnt want polish anymore (I dont want to contaminate the wound with polish used on other people) and she tried to convince me so much that it was ok and that I should still get gel. I did not accept even getting clear polish.
I should have just stopped there and left but I decided to get my fill on my hard gel. She was laughing at me and telling her coworker because she had to explain what the fill procedure was and that I didnt know (I have very strong nails and NEVER get hard gel or acrylics, so of course I don't know how it works). Like, is that really the funniest thing that you got going on in your day? Kinda sad babe! She literally would NOT let this go and it was really annoying. I really just wanted her to stop talking. During the process she hit my cuticles multiple times with the rotary tool. Leaving multiple spots of torn skin on my cuticles. The nails came out fine even though she wouldn't let me get the color I wanted because it would be "ugly". Cool, whatever, I just wanted to get it over with. Arguing with the nail lady was not on my to do list.
Then at checkout I get fully charged for the pedicure even though she ripped my skin and made me bleed, and I didnt even get any polish AT ALL. What a ripoff. I liked this place and was a regular so this really sucked. Rude, careless, and dangerous! This is how people get infections at...
Read moreWhat a nightmare. I am new to acrylics and wanted to get them off. The lady manager at the desk came over to me and proceeded to rip them off after I said I wanted them off. I kept complaining that it was too much and at the third middle finger (right hand) she drew blood as she broke into the nail bed. Doesn't say anything and just throws super glue on it. I was sweating by the time she got to the pinky, where she ended up ripping the tip of the nail bed off. Again, acts as if nothing. The whole time I am telling her this is torture and she just ignores me. Does not once apologize or offer to soak them off (which I did not know was an option!!!). I complained enough to where she slowed down but it was her duties at the desk that made her stop. I got a very nice lady that ended up finishing the job with much more empathy and kindness. The manager that did the damage charged me the full price at the desk before I complained she made me bleed and I was still in pain. She responded with, "You are too sensitive." Excuse me but you tore into my nail bed on one finger and tore a quarter of another nail bed off. That isn't anywhere being too sensitive. You are not supposed to make people bleed or make them uncomfortable. She acted as if she was doing me a favor by giving me a "discount" of $5 from my total. I'm still in pain and can barely do anything with my hands. I've taken pictures and am considering taking additional action. Never going there again. The manager made it clear they don't care about their customers....
Read moreThe place has a real nice paint job. I came in for full leg and underarm waxing. I have waxed my legs for over 20 years, and it has not hurt like today’s wax in over a decade. The room I was in had “relaxing” music up so loud that it would be impossible to have a conversation woth someone. The woman who waxed my legs had no real order as to the waxing. She couldn’t understand why i kept my knees bent when she was waxing that area. It was obvious to someone with experience, to stretch the skin and not hurt or bruise. I told her twice that she was going to bruise my skin the way she was waxing. Then when she was finished with one underarm she used the same stip she had for waxing, fild it in half and use the back side for oil on my skin. Which she proceeded to rub as if I needed a loofah style of rub on freshly waxxed underarm?!? No thank you. Never coming back. Price was reasonable and like I said the paint job and...
