I used to love this place, but the customer service and efficiency has completely tanked. I don’t know if there’s new management or what, but they are losing it.
2 weeks ago, i preordered a drink and muffin for pick up on my day off. i spent 25 minutes sitting outside watching people walk up and walk out with their orders. i stayed patient until the very end, where the manager handed me my drink and said she was going to refund me because “you’ve been waiting for like 15 minutes”. I never got that refund.
Today, I am suffering from covid and just wanted a coffee and muffin so i ordered through door dash to be delivered. i got the drink but the completely wrong muffin. no worries, i got credits for it and reordered an express delivery for the original muffin. The muffin i received was totally different from the first one and the one i originally ordered!! I ordered one chocolate muffin and received a weird raisin muffin with no seal on the bag, and then received an apple type of muffin on the second try. I normally get over things pretty quickly, but the fact that I can barely stay conscious with covid is making this suck so much more. At this point I didn’t trust that they’d get anything right so i fought to have a full refund, but to know that this establishment has lost its reliability and quality is a huge bummer and they may have lost me as a long time...
Read more2025-Yet again, it is a mess. I went for a best drink ever and again the drink taste like American coffee I could buy at Mc Donalds for half the price. Montly, I spend a good amount of money buying coffee at this branch because is near my place, but it is not right!! I was trying to buy it at some other branch but this is near, so I went back and things were a little better some other time but same situation. However, today I am DONE!! TOO MUCH MONEY, for the crap the employee in turn decided is in the mood to prepare. It is because sometimes I CANNOT leave a tip? is that the reason?????
2024-Maybe the San Marcos owner needs a bigger place to keep employees in a good mood and not all crowded, and confused so they can give better customer service. Every time I buy coffee in the San Marcos branch tastes different (not that good), they make a lot of mistakes with the orders, they send you to wait in the parking lot for a while, etcetera. Read moreWhile having some work done on my Jeep, saw on Google maps a nearby coffee shop. I new it would be good when I saw 2 lines of cars with order takers helping people in a very efficient manner. I was arriving by foot, so walked up to the order window (which is on the side facing San Marcos Blvd.).
I ordered a mint infused iced coffee, which was in my hand pretty quickly considering how busy they were. The coffee was delicious! I've had mint in coffee's before, but they all tasted like syrup was poured into them. This actually tasted like there was muddled mint which had been infused into the iced coffee, which going by the name is how they made it. The fresh mint leaves floating on the top also added an aromatic hint of mint that was the perfect finishing touch to the drink. I now know why the long line in the drive thru.
