Bubble Tea — Restaurant in San Marcos

I went today with my mom to go get a boba because she was stressed and I wanted to treat her to boba because we always go there. We enjoyed that place took our friends and family there, even though the drinks were hit or miss. For example the thai tea sometimes its good and the other times it is not. We ordered and it took us 20-30 minutes to get the drinks because they forgot about our drinks. When we finally got the drinks we couldnt leave because a car was blocking the door to enter on the drivers side. My mom waited patiently until the owner was done with her son and my mom asked her politely if she could move. Then the owner proceeded to yell and get mad and blame it on my mom, keep it mind the parking spaces are tight. She proceeded to tell my mom that she should learn how to park right (she parked perfectly fine) and started saying its her business and its taking away her time and starting going on a tangent. When she could’ve politely just moved it and we would’ve been on our way. She finally moved it with saying “park on the other side next time”, as if we were gonna come back. When we were leaving she was talking about it with her coworkers and other clients as if she wasn’t the one that started the scene. I hope that lady has a good rest of the day because it clearly...

Do you ever go somewhere after soo long and nothing's really changed? A decade has gone by since I started coming here and probably 9 years since my last visit. It was to my knowledge the first Tea Lounge that served Boba in North County so before kids were going to Starbucks to study and be accepted they were coming from Palomar College to hang out here between classes as campus food was wack. If you were Asian or just into milk tea or boba you were coming here. The flimsy hollow aluminum uncomfortable chairs are still there and the menu really hasn't changed except added a few food items and a few new flavors. Heck even the picture on the frames are from that day and age. I almost always used to get Honeydew milk tea with boba, large as they could make it. Now I get the same thing just regular. I was amazed to find out they are now open to midnight every day. Granted I doubt they open up starbucks early and I don't know about their Wifi, but if you remember the days of spiked hair and nautical jackets you might want to step back in time and feel young again or really old for a...

I ordered Thai milk tea and passionfruit lemonade via Uber eats. They made these drinks with ice (I asked for no ice). The Thai tea looked creamy and had black residuals in it. They took them back and made me new ones which was nice. However it took a long time to get my order because of the mistakes. I also ordered churros. They were ok. The service was great though.

The space was a decent size. There’s an arcade machine, a claw machine and some tables for hanging out. I would say this is not my boba place of choice but i would go back if there’s no other good boba...
