Accessibility: this place has accessible parking right in front of the store, but it is a very tiny parking lot so if there aren't any spaces left you might have to park near the hotel next door or behind the building in some extra lot they have. To get up to the store there is a ramp and the front door is a pull door but was left propped open today (Saturday). There is no bathroom here because it is a small bakery. They speak Spanish and English.

Experience: I love this place! A new favorite bakery. This place is very clean and they have a great cleaning system set up for COVID (not sure if they had this pre-COVID also). They have a sign on the door that says masks required and only four people in the store at a time. When you come in, you put on hand sanitizer or gloves they provide, grab a clean tray and clean tongs to pick up the food you want. You can open the glass doors to the food you want then use the tongs to pick it up and put it on your tray, then close the glass again. When you are ready to pay you can go to the counter and they will bag things up for you. They do not take Discover cards or American Express, but everything else works. With your used tongs you put them in a box on the counter labeled used, and they take the used tray from you also at the counter.

Overall: very accessible, clean, organized,...

My comment is more because of the lack of service they have at this place. I strongly believe in customer service I mean any business is in business because of the customers and although don’t think all customers are in the right I think that a business has to maintain posture. This place closes at 9 and we or I value our time and they decide to mop the place at 8pm so they can prepare to go, well that’s not my problem and they should do it at their time and not mine. Reason I say this is because while they mopped and it drying we had to wait 25minutes. Not sure I want to...

3rd visit to this place, we loved it from the 1st time, HOWEVER: we were picking up out favorite bread today around 330pm from the cabinet closest to the fridge and SURPRISE SURPRISE 🪳🪳🪳 we spotted a COCKROUCH in the bread🤢 We immediately told the lady attending the establishment, she took the single piece of bread out with the cockrouch still on the bread and put it in a trash can in the back!!! Did she take all the bread out?? NOOOOOOOOOO NOT GOING THERE EVER🤢🤢🤢🤢

I'm so disappointed by this place they keep charging different prices at different times of day. Stopped by today the conchas I purchased were .80 cents a piece last time I came they were hot and fresh and they were 70 cents. Other times I've come at different times and I've noticed it depends who is working the price changes. I'm just gonna go down the street around the corner on W. Mission Rd.

Amazing spot for Pan Dulce! Price isn't bad but parking is difficult if you come during a busy hour and sometimes even for normal hours.. This place is a must try and I recommend to anyone who wants Mexican Pan Dulce, Mexican Hot Chocolate, or Champurado. I have not tried anything else here but those items. Every time I come to San Marcos, I come here for pan.
