Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Marcos

Stopped in at this location on Saturday night at approximately 9pm 09/25/2021. I'd suggest District management look into this business & it's employees practices. If whoever owns this particular location has a desire to thrive in business. Maybe do a dry run though the drive thru window with a secret shopper. Just a suggestion. Since I've visited on multiple occasions to hear the same response as I heard from gentlemen working window tonight. Which is "they're waiting on the truck for eggs or tortillas".

They may get hip to the scene & switch it to another product like sausage. Since it's another main ingredient in the breakfast menu.LMAO. These are the kids working that want $15 hourly. Same ones stuck on an endorphin rush. Scrolling their TikTok feeds. Getting upset whenever customers come to a business establishment to buy something. Like they should be able to show up to work & not have to do the job description they applied for.

Want the easiest way through life. Making up stories of trucks not dropping products. Just just to make their day at work lax as possible.

In reality this store shouldn't even get a one star based on the customer service. I worked in the restaurant industry for 2 years and I know how everything that is done is to provide good customer service to our customers. When I walked in, that was a completely different story. My family wanted to enjoy dining in and get off our feet from a long ride from San Antonio on a vacation, when we walked in, we were very grossed out by the fact that one of the employees was making a huge unsanitary mess all over the floor deep cleaning tables during peek hours instead of doing that after the lobby has closed. So my family decided to eat in my vehicle instead. On the other hand the restrooms were very disgusting!!! Like who in the right mind leaves a restroom not cleaned and stocked with the essentials?!! Like the floor was very dirty and there was no toilet paper, soap, paper towels and the list goes on. The trash was over flowing all over the floor, etc. I'm never coming back to this store unless customer service was done correctly. I've personally never had a problem with service at this Jack in the Box location until yesterday at approximately 2pm. The front end cashier was extremely rude all because I requested that he top off my iced mocha. There have been multiple occasions when I've requested this, always willing to pay extra if needed, and it was never an issue. Nor was I ever charged.

Your front end cashier told me in a very high handed manner that he was going to charge me for a whole new cup and demanded I tell him the cup size I wanted. He refused to acknowledge my answer and continued to demand my cup size choice. When it became apparent that his attitude angered me, he refused to service me in his high handed manner.

When is it ever ok to treat customers like they are less than human?

Based on other reviews, this is not the first time this location has received complaints about extremely rude employees.

I had absolutely no problem with this gentleman until he displayed his annoyance at my request to top off my mocha and treated me like garbage.
