DO NOT ORDER HERE! I received the WORST customer service from the Manager of the store. Our company placed an order for some ice creams as an afternoon treat at 11am, for delivery at 1:30pm to our office. 1:45pm comes around and I call to check on the order, the girl working said they didn't receive our order at all through the website but that her manager would be back at in 10 mins and would give me a call. The young girl calls back and says our order was ready in the fridge but that there were no delivery drivers to pick it up and I would have to go pick it up. I let her know that I paid for delivery and tip through their website and she is saying there is nothing they can do about refunding that because it is a 3rd party they use. She is then talking back and forth with the manager to relay information to me. I finally ask to get the manager on the phone and she says that a driver just got there and that our order is being delivered. It doesn't stop here as a happy ending.....
When the delivery driver comes to deliver our order we had one ice cream missing. I call the store to speak to the manager and she was NOT apologetic either time with our order being delayed or missing one of our ice creams. She was very RUDE the whole time and not Manager material and setting an example for her workers who are hearing her talk on the phone. Instead of being professional and asking me to please hold to check her receipt she right away tells me "NO, I was the one who made your order there isn't one missing". I have to tell her "Yes, I only have 4". She then checks some paper and finally realized she did miss one of orders. She then tells me that I would have to get a refund through Uber because they delivered it eventhough I ordered through the Great American Cookie website. I ask her how and get a little frustrated that I would have to go through this whole process of getting a refund when it was her fault from the beginning. I then begin to tell her that the customer service I received from her was not great and she never was apologetic about any of this situation. She then tells me that she did apologize and to have a great day and hangs up on me. I tried getting a refund through the Uber app as she said but am unable to since I didn't place the order on the app and went through their website.

Read moreI will say that before closing to remodel I don't recall ever having a bad experience here. I've visited very frequently and it was my go to ice cream spot in town. But since the remodel coming back, I have had nothing but terrible experiences. The first time was when I showed up back in July at 8 o'clock and all of the lights were off and the open sign was off. I told my husband that was weird because the door said they closed at 10. He open the door to find out they were in fact open, but we're just hoping that no one else would come for the rest of the night? Fast forward to this weekend we went in at seven, and had the worst experience with the employee. First, when taking my order the employee seemed completely uninterested in listening to me. He had headphone in. As he's making my order he grabs a waffle cone bowl after I had ordered a cone that you hold in your hand and asks me how many scoops did I say that I wanted. I politely responded that I only wanted one scoop and I actually wanted it in one of those cones, and pointed to the cone. He turned around and looked at the many cones that were sitting there, mumbled something, and then continued to put the ice cream in the bowl. He had his headphones in his ear the entire time while serving me, so it's no wonder he couldn't hear me or maybe he just really could care less. They handed me and my husband our ice cream at the same time and they were both already a soup like consistency, my husband was melted so much already that it was coming out of the bowl dripping everywhere. It’s not that it took them forever to make the ice cream, the slab of marble must have not been frozen enough to keep the ice cream cold? It was just soup dripping from the bowl, Completely unacceptable and just really so disappointing when a business goes from being your complete favorite in the town to the absolute worst. Read moreI went here today and got the cake batter flavor, then went to eat it in the car. I got about halfway through and realized there was a small bug in the ice cream. I was worried it had flown inside during my walk back to my car, but it definitely couldn't have because it was IN the ice cream, like I said a good halfway down. I wasn't upset or anything because I know those things happen, but wanted to tell them in case they needed to check the rest of the cake batter or other flavors. I was pretty nervous to tell them because I didn't want to be that person but felt like I needed to in case any other customers ran into the same problem. I think I went about it in a nice way, I didn't even ask for a refund or anything but the two ladies who were in there acted like they didn't believe me. If I was going to put a bug in there, I would have asked for a refund. Anyway, the younger lady just called (I'm assuming) her superior or boss or whoever over, who proceeded to say to "just give me another." I didn't want another though because it seemed like there was a bug in my first serving, so why would I want a second? They didn't apologize or anything else and again, I know it may not have been their personal fault or problem, but I wish they had gone about it in a different way.
